In case it helps someone else...
I bought these to follow along a YouTube ballet class. I wear a US womens size 7 and I bought these in an 8 based on other reviews. They are comfortable and maybe maybe a touch too big, but also I'm not wearing tights. I like the quality, they will definitely be fine for my purposes.

good quality
Perfect - quality, color, soft and comfy - my regular size is 7,5 - amazon recommended 8 - fits perfect! I took ballet class and love - good packaging - small bag that fit to mid size purse.

Small, stinky, not real leather
(TL;DRNote actual leatherOrder 1 size upBreak in carefully to avoid nail lossGet funky fastOk for light useCute)I did not buy these for dance, firstly…I wear these as slippers around the house and I occasionally just like to spin on the balls of my feet on the vinyl flooring lolI only wear minimalist footwear that is completely flat and I wish I could wear these outside like some other reviewers have but it’s wet outside currently.1: NOT REAL LEATHER - the heel and ball pads are made of a synthetic suede, not leather as advertised. (Description here says “leather” but the garment tag does not)2: Not breathable - I have had these for less than 2 weeks and only wear them occasionally around my apartment …I have NEVER had my feet or shoes smell this awful! That’s including wearing rubber boots. It is seriously rank and funky. There are no cleaning instructions on the garment tag, but I will have to find a way to wash them because I cannot wear them at this point. It is literally so bad after 2 weeks that if I can’t clean them properly, they have to go into the trash.3: Very small — this may be very normal with dance slippers and because they are made of canvas, I believe they will stretch a bit.(If the insane funk levels weren’t an issue, I’d consider soaking them in hot water then wearing them wet to stretch and conform them)I had read reviews about sizing and I ordered 1 size larger than my usual size 10, I also have wide feet.Still breaking them in for sure, they are very snug even in a size bigger, but not so small I can’t wear them.A reviewer said they lost toenails…Heed their warning! Any shoe that presses into toenails or significantly rubs the toenail can cause nail loss... I found that out when I started jogging and lost several. So with any shoe, pay attention to the amount of pressure on your toenails!I am very careful breaking these in because there IS a lot of pressure on my big toe nails. That said, they were relatively cheap.I do have strings coming loose on the fake leather pads after 2 weeks of light wear. They are quite cute. It’s a mixed bag for me… the smell problem is a major issue and I don’t think these would last very long if they were actually being used for dance. They seem like they’d be fine for light use or an essentially disposable pair of slippers.

I was so disappointed, as I waited for almost two weeks to get them, and it turned out be that I got the used ones that I paid for the amount for the new ones. What made me feel even sad was that everything that was ordered together with this pair of ballet shoes, the dancing pants, shirts, and even the expensive Johnny Was silk scarf was excellent, good quality and nice packing, except for these pair of Danzcue ballet shoes.
