That early ballet experience eventually led me to Pilates, training with a former professional ballerina, until a demanding career (and nonstop travel) pulled me away from that world.Now, years later, I’ve returned to Pilates - and decided to add ballet back in, which is why I picked up these slippers. They're incredibly soft, fit snugly, and have just enough leather on the sole to give me grip without sticking. I wear them on my mat, carpet, solid flooring, and even on my rebounder.I chose the pale pink, which looks great with my fair skin. I ordered my usual size (same as I wear in pumps), and they fit like a glove - my toes fully fill the slipper, and they stay on securely, even with my unusually flat heels (something a few pedicurists have commented on over the years, lol!).I can’t speak to long-term durability yet, but for the price point, construction, and comfort, they’re a great value. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have been doing at home barre lessons and wanted some actual ballet slippers to do barre in. These fit the bill perfectly! They fit true to size and are snug and comfortable. The grippy bottom allows you to dance or do barre on slippery floors without slipping, as well as helps turning smoothly on floors. I highly recommend these. For the price, these are excellent ballet slippers.

Decent pair of bargain slippers.
Nice for turning. Comfortable and stretchy. Like all ballet slippers they get dirty very fast. These slippers are showing wear a little earlier than others. There's already a small hole starting in the toe. They run a touch small, so I'd get a 1/2 size up. They are also a bit narrow--they slide down the arch at times. All in all a decent pair of bargain slippers.

Makes Me Feel Like a Ballerina--and Soothes an Injured Foot
Wouldn't every girl or woman like a pair of pink dance shoes? I'm not a dancer, but I wanted these shoes as slippers for around the house. They are not much different from a brand name slipper I've worn for years, and I liked the addition of the straps.I ordered my usual shoe size. At first, I thought they would be too small, as they looked kind of crumpled up! Still, they stretched out perfectly and fit me very well.They have good traction, so you won't slip in them on slick floors. They are a little warm on the foot, so I am thinking they will do well as house slippers in autumn and winter!As it happens, I pulled something in my foot the other day, and I find that going around barefoot is the most soothing and healing. Snug fit with excellent split suede foot pads for traction and strong elastic cross-straps on top to keep the slipper secure during movement. Stretchy fabric helps keep these conformed to your foot. (You might consider wearing a toe pad as a preventative measure, if your big toenail is long enough to rub. Because these are so snug-fitting, I would suggest ordering up a half size if you prefer a little more give - this fabric will still be stretchy enough to take up any slack. Good for Pilates, yoga, or any indoors exercise regimen - and equally as good to wear around the house on chillier mornings. Comfortable and not as warm as some yoga socks can be, for sure.
