Been searching forever since my first pair wore out.Product fit:Yes, they are large.Yes, they are wide.No, they don't have good arch support.These are skate shoes. That is to be expected from them and every other skate shoe made by shoe companies that only make skate shoes. Maybe you'll find different in Nike and Adidas, but as far as a shoe company that has its roots based in skateboarding this is how shoes are made.That also means they are super comfortable for casual use. Walking around all day. They are flat, you can feel every little crack in the ground. They are supposed to, they are for SKATEBOARDING and you need board feel for board control. That does not mean they don't provide support, as shock absorption is also a must for skateboarding.If you are buying these for any reason other than walking, skateboarding, or kicking back buy something else.

My teenage son loves these shoes. We were given a pair in new condition and my son has worn them for 4 school years. He still uses the old pair to do yard work in. He has wide, large feet and we usually have to buy other shoes in larger sizes to fit his foot width. I have bought up to size 17 for this kid of mine just so the shoe was wide enough. But a size 15 in these fit him perfectly! He likes that the tongue is normal size and not the ones that stick out. He’s 6’1” and perfect size for a lineman, so I was happy that this shoe lasted 4 school years! Love the price for them also, single moms love good quality at an affordable price! I ordered the DC men's pure skate in pirate black in a size 9.5 on Wednesday, they arrived on Sunday morning with the free shipping option, so I am very satisfied with that. As far as the shoes, they are exactly what I wanted, they fit perfectly (I've been wearing DCs for years, so I know my size) and they look great. A tiny bit snug, but I know that after wearing them a couple of times they will be absolutely perfect. Best part is that these shoes last. The last pair of all black DCs I bought were purchased back in January 2014 and they are just now starting to show noticeable wear at the sole. Such good quality shoes :D

I have been wearing this exact style of shoe for over 10 years and I never get tired of how they look. I am a size 9.5 and I ordered these in a 9.5, but they were a little too small. They were tight around my toes and hurt my feet. I returned them and ordered a half size up, a size 10, and although they seemed a bit big at first, they fit just fine now and they are really comfortable. These shoes stay relatively clean as long as you're not jumping in puddles. Any light dirt wipes right off. These shoes are great, but if you have wide feet like I do, I recommend ordering a half size bigger than you usually wear.

Tried something new
Personally i am not a skater, I am a mechanic. with that being said i walk and run a lot, so sweating during summer really took the comfort out of wearing shoes. so i opted for an alternative1. This exact model has a small grip circle at the bottom which surprisingly have a bit of grip on oily and greasy surfaces (of course with proper balance and sense, i do not recommend to someone who is not familiar with such surfaces).2. Comfortable over all, wide so my foot toes don't feel tight.3. Has 2 small "breather" holes on the side that are EXTREME help on odor and sweat. And by EXTREME i mean almost rid completely.I use them everywhere. and i mean everywhere.Good looking, Good Price. Cant Complain.
