Heavy duty
I have a 10 yr old boy that destroys shoes pretty quickly. We bought these, and when they came in they were definitely a heavier shoe. Seemed alot more durable than they looked on here. Stitching is good and tight and the leather/material seems as it will last a good while. He says they still have good grip, velcro is still good.. Hopefully they stay a solid shoe, as hes wanting the exact shoe if these wear out or he outgrows.. I'll update in a while, but they seem to be a heavy duty shoe. True to size.

Completely fell apart. Worn by 9year old to school ONLY
As a family we absolutely love these shoes. All of the kids and myself wear these throughout the winter and we have for several years. We buy fresh pair for every member of the family each fall and the kids typically wear theirs until they outgrow them. This is the first time that I've had a pair completely fall apart like this.Unfortunately there's no way that I'll buy these again for the kids or myself unless I find some sort of resolution to this issue. What a shame.
