Comfy and warm
I love these very comfortable and warm slippers. This is my 3rd pair of Dearfoams over 3 years. The soles are not made for harsh surfaces such as cement, so they probably get a bit of harsh treatment each time I wear them into the garage or onto the patio. But I knew that going into purchasing them. I have other slippers whose soles are made for outdoor wear, but those firmer soles are not as comfortable as these Dearfoam slippers.I highly recommend them for indoor use. I wear size 5.5 medium width shoes and ordered the slippers in size Small and they fit just right.

Has Both Good & Not So Good Qualities
Ok, these slippers are both good and sort of meh. I’ll start with the good: They keep my feet warm and are comfortable. They run smaller than most slippers, but I personally like that because I find my foot slides around too much in most slippers. The sole is cushy but not too much like you’re elevated off the ground. Again, I like this feature because I prefer to be barefoot, so soles that I can still feel the ground thru are good. They are nice and flexible so there are no rub spots on my feet or ankles. Also, the soles are soft yet grippy. So, I don’t slide on hardwood floors yet the bottom treads aren’t deep so that won’t damage carpet. As for the bad: these aren’t major issues, just stuff to take note of. First, they took a month to arrive. I wasn’t in any rush, but if you are thAt might cause a problem for you. And second: these are the loudest, noisiest slippers or shoes I have ever worn. They are so loud that I sometimes can’t wear them while walking around in the house because they get annoying to listen to. The soles sound sticky on hardwood and tile floors. Almost like you’re popping popcorn. And the actual slipper part/sides sound like they are insulated with plastic grocery bags, which helps keeps your feet warm while being thin and lightweight, but again very annoying to listen to after a while. So comfy and comforting
This style of Dearfoams remind me of my youth and living at home when our whole family wore and loved these slippers. I’m so glad the style lives on, they are cozy and comfy and quiet on the hard wood floors.

Warm Indoor-Only Slippers
These aren't really the "original" bootie, I used to buy a pair of those every fall and wear them daily indoors until the weather got warm again. Whereas, these are sewn crookedly, poorer materials overall. I've washed them in cold water twice in two months and there's already a tiny hole forming along a seam. They're also not cheap, the Large is more expensive than smaller sizes, over $30 is too much for these. However, here are the plusses... the soles have been improved with some memory foam, making them more cushy on the bottom than the original, they're quite cozy. As others have said, they run small, so do size up. I'm a 7 and got the Large so that I could wear one or two pair of warm socks, and this is a good size for that. I haven't found a soft bootie (sans hard rubber sole) that's more comfy. They're much better than socks alone, so I'm reasonably satisfied with the feel. I do recommend for softness and warmth, indoor use only, they're serving my needs. But I hope that Dearfoams will do a bit more quality control on these in the future.

Comfy cozy slippers
Perfect to wear around the house or yard. Reinforced sole. Warm so you don’t have to wear socks. Packs easily for traveling. Looks cute! Have washed once so far (delicate cycle) and fluffs up nicely air drying. I wear a size 9.5 shoes so the 9-10, large fit nicely. Somewhat narrow-med width so that should be consideration for sizing up if a wide width in shoes
