I couldn't find the flats I had always bought, so decided to try these. They seem very comfortable. However, I ordered 9.5 which I always wore in the other brand, but these are too big. I'm going to return them for a smaller size.
I purchased these to wear in the house instead of slippers. Somewhat disappointed in the short toe box. I normally have to put an insert into Size 7 because they are too long; however these are not. They are cute, but uncomfortable. I will be donating them.
I have purchased several different pairs of ballet flat "walking shoes" ( all in the same size) & none fit properly. I returned all but one pair & should have returned that one too. While ballet flat "walking shoes" do not replace my sneakers for workout walks or workouts in general, they are an excellent option when i know i will be walking, or dancing, etc. and, sneakers don't work with my outfit.
Once upon a time, about 20 years ago, I worked on my feet and did so in heels. I loved it. I would stomp around for hours on end and still feel amazing at the end of the day. Now? Not so much. Getting older isn't fun, or fashionable, in many cases. Now, if I wear a pair of "sensible" heels, I feel it for days after. Even flats can wreak havoc on my feet and back, so trying to find shoes that don't look heinous but also feel good has been a challenge.I love these. Are they the cutest? No. Of course not. But are they as institutional looking as other comfortable shoes I've tried? No. These look more like standard black flats, except for that bit of sole that protrudes. While not the most stylish, that's what makes these such a dream to have on your feet. These things weigh nothing at all, and support my feet beautifully. From the day they came, I've worn them pretty much every day. Don't even worry about blisters. They aren't going to be a problem, unless you get yours too small. Oh, and I found these run true to size.What would I change? Well, obviously I wish these could be a bit more svelte and cute. But I will say this: if anyone can figure out how to make cute, non-agonizing shoes, it will be Dearfoams.
The first pair of Dearforms I ordered were too large. The AI hint on the reviews was that this shoe runs small. For me this was not true.There was no problem returning them to the vendor. They give refunds not exchanges. This was okay as I wanted two pairs. I ordered my normal size, a size 7 for a prefect fit. Dearform slipper shoes have not changed since I was a young adult. They feel like house slippers, wear like tennis shoes and look great with a skirt or jeans. Happy I found this vendor.

Since these are made by a company that makes slippers, I had high hopes that these would be comfortable shoes. THEY ARE NOT! They have torn my feet up! I know there's a breaking in period for new shoes to a certain extent but these are ridiculous. The backs of my heels are completely torn up and the shoes rub everywhere else (they are the correct size and fit my feet fine) don't waste your money on these, they are the most uncomfortable shoes! If I could have given 0 stars I would.
