These are really nice as hiking or good-looking work boots.
These are, indeed, boots. They lace up high, and seem to be quite waterproof. Like other footwear from the same seller I have tried, these fit true to size for my U.S. size, or maybe a tiny bit big, so extra-thick socks are no problem, and if you are between sizes, you should probably try the smaller size first. They are well-finished, inside and out, and quite comfortable, with a small arch support. The inside finish is very smooth and comfortable, and outside, the surface is a little "nubbly", as this style of boot often is. (If I knew the right word, I would have used it.) The outside looks quite convincingly like leather, though it does feel like plastic, which it is. So if you are trying to impress someone who might feel your boots, it could be an issue, I guess. The soles have a heavy "lug" style, like expensive hiking boots. They are also more lightweight than I expected, which contributes to comfort. They look nice/classy enough, especially in black, that IMHO one could wear them as work boots, and then go out somewhere casual without changing them, if of course your work boots do not need a steel toe, which these do not have (which is why they weigh less than either of my steel-toed sneakers/trainers).The one comfort/fit issue is the top set of grommets (lace holes): putting the laces through the top-most holes can make the top (opening) of the boot uncomfortably tight. The manufacturer suggests this by shipping them with the laces going up to the 2nd-from-top set of holes, and I suggest that, for most people, this is probably the way to go. But it is nice for the boots to go up as high as they do, for the time when that puddle turns out to be much deeper than you thought.

Comfortable and Casual
These DECARSDZ lace-up chukka boots look sharp with jeans and are comfortable enough for all-day urban wear at a budget-friendly price. The non-slip lug sole provides good grip for light outdoor use, and the waterproof PU upper wipes clean easily, making them low-maintenance. They run as expected in size 10.5 for me, but feel more like a casual fashion boot, with good arch support, than a rugged work or hiking boot, so they are ideal for commuting, casual outings, and cool-weather wear.

Tough Stitching, Easy Fit
This is a Vine review and I received the item for free.First ImpressionsThese men’s shoes, in size 10.5, fit true to size and feel just right for wide feet. The style is versatile and modern, making them easy to wear both in the wood shop and out for errands. They slipped on with no fuss and flexed nicely with plenty of comfort for moving around.QualityThe fabric feels flexible and breathable, so feet stayed cool even during long shop sessions. I was worried the upper might get hot, but it never did. Extra stitching is done neatly and seems to reinforce the construction. I didn't spot any loose threads or glue issues.FunctionalityWearing these in the wood shop for hours, these shoes handled standing, walking, and working with ease. The material is flexible, doesn’t pinch or squeeze, and has enough room for wider feet. The outsole grips well on sawdust, wood floors, and tile, so there’s no slipping around. Size 10.5 fits exactly as expected.ValueComfort, reinforced stitching, and breathable construction make these a solid buy for the price. They work great for everyday wear and seem tough enough to handle shop life. Long-term durability appears better than bargain shoes, and daily use is no problem.ProsFits true to size in 10.5, works for wide feetComfortable and flexible all dayStylish design for shop and errandsExtra stitching for durabilityBreathable, upper prevents overheatingConsNot as light as mesh shoesCushion is firm, not super softMore suited for casual or work than dressy eventsFinal Recommendation & StarsGreat pick for anyone who needs a comfortable, tough shoe for work or daily wear. Four out of five stars for value and comfort. Only downside is if you want something super lightweight.

very comfortable and non slip
What I like about these boots is the comfort. They fit my feet well and look good. Also, the soles help with traction in the snow because of the lugs.

Amazon Review of DECARSDZ Men's Fashion Lace-up Casual Chukka Boots
For the price, I'm happy with these boots. I have had my son sporting them to try them out, as they are made for men. Although they are not made of genuine leather, the synthetic material seems durable, and the stitching is tight and even. The soles are made of a tough rubber material and have a good tread that is comparable to more expensive boots. They have strong, sturdy laces, are fairly lightweight, and my son says they fit true to size. He wears a 10 1/2 but has a wide foot; these do not hurt his feet, although he said he would probably prefer to wear a "wide" version if they had one. They have stretched out a bit with wear, making them more comfortable for work, outdoor wear, or sports. They are somewhat "flat" inside so he has added some a gel soul for comfort. Overall, 4.5 stars, but we're rounding up.

Very poorly made
These boots were very poorly made. I put these on and the soles were very uncomfortable! Super thin bottoms, and the boots felt like cheap plastic.

Didn't fit....
They didn't have a 9.5 wide so I went with a 10 like I normally would for other shoes. The 10 was so long on my foot though so I can't wear them. The fabric is relatively cheap and the soles are thin. These are definitely more for fashion than funtion.
