Excellent shoes for boys
Worked perfectly for my son's 8th grade graduation. He is 96 lbs and wears a size 7 big kid shoe. He has wide feet and we did not get a W size, which were not offered anyway, but he did not have any pain from wearing them. The price worked for us and they didn't tear up the backs of his feet. I still put band aids on, because he was wearing dress socks, but at the end of the graduation at home, no tears. So these worked. They look very professional, and he will get some wear out of them for special occasions.

No Shoelaces
These are really nice shoes, but they come with an elastic band in the eyelets instead of tie-able shoelaces.. I suppose they assume that kids don't know how to tie their shoes, so this is supposed to make things easier. However, it would have been nice to include a pair of shoe laces so parents have the option to use them. In our case, we bought the shoes a little big because we wanted them to last a bit longer, but because there is no way to tighten the laces, they are loose on our son. I ended up having to find a pair of shoelaces and dress laces for kids shoes are challenging to find. Most online are too long.

Deer Stags used to be a better quality. These are weirdly stiff and cheapy feeling and looking. The sizing is super weird. I am a women's 5.75ish, right between a 5.5 and 6. A kid's 4 almost ALWAYS fits me perfectly. These though, were comically large. Had to return.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair. I wear them to work. I’m a women and I normally wear a 6.5 in women’s and these work great. They hold up great! The first pair I wore for a year at least 5 days a week. They are still wearable and appropriate for work in an office. Way cheaper than any “Women’s oxford”. They are also way more comfortable than any women’s dress shoe.
