Awesome shoes!
Came here to write a review which I never do but with all the complaints I felt like I needed to! I got these for my growing teen boys for a dance, church, Holidays and I’m beyond happy for the price! The Redwood brown are so pretty and even after a night out the creases make them look more authentic. They are a tiny bit longer than expected and a bit loose around the ankle, but my boys said they were comfortable and no issues. I love that we have additional growing room! Tons of lace on ours and they look exactly like the video shown by the manufacturer.We appreciate high end clothing and shoes, but I decided to try these because my boys feet are growing like crazy and for $50 you cannot beat the look at all! We won’t be wearing these daily so I can’t speak to longevity, but I’m guessing we’ll get enough wear out of them to make them worthwhile!

Comfortable shoes!!!
Not only do these shoes look good, they feel wonderful. I bought these to temporarily fill in for a pair of $200 calf high leather boots I bought for my part in the renascence fair which didn’t fit well, killed my feet, and pretty much immobilized me for the day’s events. I quickly ordered three sizes of these with Try before you buy and found a perfect fit! A $60 replacement that feels so much better than the fancy expensive boots. It saved my season for ren Faire!

Would buy this again
Very affordable would definitely buy them again.Pros:- Shoes comfortable- Seem to be decently manufacturedCons:- They came a bit scratched may have been due to careless return. Luckily I was able to buff out the scratches with some neutral colored wax.- Laces are terrible quality, but not a big deal because I had some spare laces.

Comfort and military style
While an active duty Marine I could not wear the Chukka boot style that was above the ankle like this one. You could choose it if you were a Staff Non-Commissioned Officer or above and did not quite get there. The military patent leather shoes we wore did not have a cushioned heel. I wore out serveral pairs of these over nearly 12 years of service, 3 of which was recruiting an almost daily wear. My feet had the discomfort from having to do so. As I have gotten older, I have chosen comfort over fashion. This shoe allowed for both. I use it with my uniform for the Marine Corps League and Disabled American Veterans. I have gotten complements on the look and provided the link to several who have now gotten their own.

Durability issues on a comfortable shoe.
Fantastic shoe for 6 months and then falls apart.I love this style and shoe but I’ve bought 6 of them in 3 years and the heel separatesFrom the sole on every one after like 6 months.If you don’t mind spending the money and like the style I love the comfort, doesn’t scuff much, good grip. Shoe just separates from the sole after a few months and the cost of fixing is the cost of the shoe.
