38-39 fits pretty much okay for a size 7 1/2 - 8 shoe size. If you're a "tight" 8, I suggest considering a 40-41. I absolutely love these! I have purchased 7 different pairs for myself...one to wear in the shower and 6 to wear as slippers...or even just to wear anywhere that doesn't include gravel or rough terrain. I have also purchased 8 pair and given them as gifts to my sisters, my daughters and grandchildren. 1 note: if you don't use them for water wear the light insoles tend to slide up and out. Check frequently, readjust and eventually they will stay in place. Great for kids running through the sprinklers!

Loved these. Good grip on the bottom for the paddle board. Not too heavy to swim in. Didn't get a grain of sand inside. The sand at the lake isn't as deep as the sand at the ocean, so I can't say weather it completely prevents sand in the footwear. But will definitely buy again if they ever wear out. My shoe size is 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly snug.

These fit true to size, and they did their job.They were comfortable for a little while.But the insole part would move, and underneath it is bumps.So I would have to stop and move it back or keep how it was.And it would start to hurt after a while but overall, for short term use, and if you're not walking a lot in them, they're great.
