Light for a steel toe compared to other boots, I enjoyed the roomy toe box and almost zero drop sole when the insert is removed. Good waterproofing and slip resistance without sacrificing comfort. Overall good quality boot for a much cheaper price than the bigger brands.
Needed a new pair of comfortable boots for riding. Saw the flat shoe like sole and thought I’d try these. Just returned from a 500 mile weekend and never even knew I didn’t have my normal walking shoes on. I did size up from 13w to 14w for some extra room in the toe box as I am coming from large redwing king toe boots. Just wish the laces were a little bit darker color.
Not sure if it was a fluke or what but when I got the shoes some of the fabric on the inside (right on the steel toe) was wrinkled. When I first put the boots on that wrinkle felt like something that was going to cause a blister and make wearing the shoes annoying. I was going to return them but I figured I would try to solve the issue myself and was able to fix the issue. Since then these shoes have been super comfortable. The only concern I have is that the top notches for the laces might wear out the laces early. Only time will tell and replacing laces is not a big concern.
The DEWALT slogan,”guaranteed tough “ says it all.The quality of these shoes is excellet,very well constructed .I got size 13 wide and they fit well.This is my second pair of Dewalt shoes with my first pair lasting over 14 months with heavy use for 9+ hours a day 5 days a week.As an ag mechanic,my shoes get oily which usually makes the glue weak,but Dewalt shoes hang together.I recommend Dewalt products.
I've been wearing barefoot (Xero) shoes for the past 7 or so years. Last year I changed jobs and needed to start wearing safety toes every day again. My old favorite steel toes from before the barefoot transition just weren't doing it for me anymore.I was ecstatic to find a boot that didn't have an elevated heel, but was also waterproof! I've been wearing these daily for a few months and I love them, so much so that I ordered a second pair in another color! Very comfortable and lightweight for what they are. I don't get nearly as sore wearing these as other "more traditional" work boots.
I’m on my second pair after three years of using the last pair. Really like these boots for all day comfort and toe protection. Once they break in, they are super comfortable.
Great zero drop option for the working man, comfortable and easy to wear all day.
