I use this slide sole whenever I’m bowling on tacky lanes, and it’s been great. It gives me the right amount of slide to stay consistent and comfortable through my approach. The black felt seems to pick up less dust and debris so it lasts longer than some of my other soles. Definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for smoother slides on stickier approaches.

Be warned this was the standard size which says it fits up to 10.5 in men's. I wish the image here reflected this better OR the description since there is 0 note of it. On my packaging it states the shoe sizes where it says trim to fit in the images on this page. I have a size 11 and this was the standard size which is up to 10.5 men's so just be warned. This isn't a big deal in my case but since I am right on the edge these DO fit my shoe perfectly in length (it seems all standard sizes fit me for length) and I just trim off maybe a half inch total to fit the width. These are also easy to cut but you'll want some sturdier bigger scissors than your typical small baby paper cutters though.I've only used low end bowling shoes in the past and the s8 on my ssts but going from the s8 to this is a MARKED difference. These glide where the s8 sticks or maybe moves a quarter inch or so before encountering resistance. If you're not used to this slick of a pad you will need to adjust and you will probably be off balance for a bit.The increased slide took a lot of stress off of my joints when bowling as well since there is less pressure build up from planting or sticking. This is a side effect that I never hear talked about and it's worth noting.
Have been using this replacement sole brand for three years. I replace every season due to the edges lifting up on the front. Otherwise, this would be a 5 star rated item. Applies very easy to the bottom of the shoe and provides me with a perfect slide. I am a bigger guy that is 6'3" and 250 lbs. so I need a little more movement on the finish. This slide sole gives me exactly what I need to finish on the release.
