Solved my swollen foot problem

If your feet are swollen due to neuropathy, these shoes are suitable for you. Compared to many other shoes, these boots conform to the shape of your foot and do not put pressure on your toes. Their most important feature is the adjustable size, which makes them comfortable and pleasant to wear, even after the swelling has subsided.

I Like Them!

These have worked out well for me so far. I'm on my feet all day at work, and have been burning through work shoes at the rate of 3 pairs yearly. Pain and numbness are a real issue, so I was happy to try these shoes. I ordered the smallest size, 8.5, because I usually wear a women's 10 or 11 depending on the fit. I was surprised by how wide they really are when I took them out of the box; they look and feel like a cross between a sneaker and a brace. They're slightly large for me, and the heel cup is a little deep, but with the addition of a heel pad, a foam insole, and thick socks, they fit well. The easy-close Velcro straps grip well, and the outsoles are reasonably non-slip on smooth surfaces (although I don't recommend them for ice, they will be fine on a kitchen floor). I've worn them for two shifts now, and although some foot pain is inevitable in my line of work, it's been drastically reduced, along with the swelling and numbness. They are clunky looking, but I don't care because the wide toe box allows my toes to spread naturally, preventing cramping and fatigue. I'm interested in seeing how they hold up over time, but for now I can definitely recommend that you try them for yourself!

They seem comfortable

Now these shoes are not cute. They remind me of those big sneaker slippers that you wear in the house. I tried to cancel not long after I ordered but it was denied. Now the shoes are soft. It looks comfortable and non constricted. It does look like it is wide width and would be comfortable to wear if feet are swollen. The bottom is solid. They do not look like they would last long (I mean last years) though you may get some good wears. It had no laces so it is easy to put on and go.It does appear to be true to size because it looks. I bought a 10 mens and this is not for me so I can not say accurately. I do hope to come back with an update to give officially the wear of these shoes. The quality of the shoes are OK and I would not pay more than twenty-five bucks.

Not what I was hoping for.

Plus: The shoe is advertised as wide, and it is indeed wide. I normally require an extra-wide shoe, and I was pleased that my toes did not touch either side. The materials are very lightweight. The grip looks pretty good. Insert is easily removable. Easy fastening and adjustment with the Velcro straps. Entirely synthetic materials, so no worries for those who are allergic to rubber.Minus: Runs longer than expected for stated size. No heel cup, so poor support in the heel. Minimal arch support. Minimal padding under the foot. With this combination of factors, you will probably find yourself buying inserts to compensate. The tongue of the shoe is not padded, so the Velcro strap cuts into the front of your ankle (not the best idea if you have neuropathy). Nothing secures the tongue in place either, so it tends to slide to the side and cut in even harder. In summary: I liked the generous width and light weight. I could have bought an insert to deal with the poor support, but having the strap cut into my ankle was a dealbreaker. I sent them back.

Good quality, very comfortable extra wide shoe for swollen feet.

These shoes are a very comfortable and have a wide boxed toe that is well made for feet that are swollen and need more room. They have easy open and close velcro straps that make the shoe easily adjustable and simple to release for people who are mobility challenged by diabetic swelling or lymphedema. The soles of the shoe are well coushioned and have a good tread to help avoid slips and falls. The material is made of a soft fabric and is breathable. They are very nice and have a good solid arch support. The price is reasonable and I found them to be fashionable and well made.

Surprised - Pleasantly

First of all, these shoes are light. It does help if you are diabetic. Next, they are really wide. I usually order a 14 wide shoe to fit my feet, but the 13 extra wide fits perfect and they are comfortable. I wore them teaching where I am standing and walking all day. My feet didn't swell, but I do also wear compression socks. I did walk more than I usually do with no problems. I do like the velcro in case the feet do swell. The quality seems to be pretty good also. They look and feel like they will hold up to someone who is on their feet all day like I am. I would order them again with what I have experienced so far with them. If anything changes, I will amend the review. It's a 5 star recommendation from me.
