Easy on! Barefoot comfort.
I was very pleasantly surprised by these shoes. First, you need to know these are barefoot style shoes. The padding inside is minimal. When walking outside, if you step on a rock, you still feel the rock, it just doesn't stab you and hurt like it would in bare feet. So there's a little padding, but not the full pad/arch support you may be used to. I personally love barefoot shoes. They allow for the natural movement of my feet and allow the muscles in my feet to move.I like the color of these shoes. They're purple, but not in your face purple. The fit is right on for me. I used the size chart, it said 9,I usually wear 9 wide, so I ordered the 9 wide and it fits perfectly. There will be no breaking in with these shoes. I feel like I'm walking in well cushioned socks. Nothing pinches and plenty of room in the toe area. They are light and easy to put on. Some people may be put off by the velcro, and I will admit these won't be winning any fashion shows, but I actually think they're kind of cute, my pant leg pretty much covers the velcro, and the way the velcro is done makes it less conspicuous. They are perfect for me and exactly what I wanted, easy on shoes that feel nice, are barefoot style, and that I can wear around the house. I can see how these may be great for someone who struggles to reach/tie traditional shoes. Thinking about ordering another pair in black.

Comfortable
I am not sure, scientifically, how these shoes are designed to help people with diabetes but I can tell you that when I put them on it stretched the bottom of my left foot in a way that was *initially* slightly uncomfortable. After wearing them for about 10 minutes they felt very comfortable. So they must be doing something for me to have felt it right away. The arch support is good, I do think these run a tad small in length though and that affects where the arch support falls. I wear an 8 in most shoes but probably should have gotten an 8.5 in these. The toe box is nice and roomy though. The soles of these shoes are about 3/4 of an inch thick and they actually have a really good traction. When I looked at the bottom and it just had these V’s in the rubber, I thought for sure they wouldn’t have great traction, but they really do and they are sturdy to walk in. The biggest concern I had when getting them was the waffle weave material on too. I thought they would be cold because they wouldn’t protect my feet from the wind, but they’re actually lined and also padded in between the lining and the waffle weave and they’re really warm. These shoes are really comfortable again not sure how that’s gonna help your diabetes, but they are comfortable to wear and they did realign my foot pretty quickly. At the time of review they were $30 which I think is a decent price for them because they do appear to be high-quality. They are comfortable and they did realign my foot for me pretty quickly!

Very well made
These shoes are interesting and I'm honestly not sure how I feel about them. I think I'll start with the fact that they are very well made. The stitching around the shoe opening, tongue and the strap is impeccably done! The sole of the shoe has a really nice grip on the bottom. The bottom of the shoe appears to be rubber and adhered perfectly to the top of the shoe with absolutely no imperfections. There is no glue showing or glue stains. The back/ heal of the shoe is strong and comfortable on the heal of the foot. The insole of the shoe is removable making it very easy to put in your own orthotics. For those looking for support, please know there is absolutely no foot support in this shoe! So, I'm on the fence with how I feel about these shoes bc my feet kinda hurt after wearing them. I'm not exactly sure whats causing the problem either. It could be that I needed a 1/2 size bigger? Idk, the material of the shoe is nice and thick but perhaps the fabric doesn't give enough? Bc after wearing the shoes for a while my toes start to feel kind of numb, for lack of a better word. Tbh, I'm not sure if it's a me problem or a shoe problem.

comfy house shoes
First I got these as house shoes and I'm not diabetic. These shoes are nice and comfy for anyone needing extra comfort and support. The wide toe box provides plenty of room, which is perfect for swollen feet, neuropathy, or edema, while the adjustable strap makes it easy to get a secure fit without feeling tight. The breathable material keeps my feet cool all day. I also love that they’re non slip so much that they squeak like I'm playing basketball. The khaki color is stylish and versatile, making them look good with casual outfits while still being incredibly practical. Overall, these shoes combine comfort, safety, and thoughtful design in a way that truly improves everyday mobility. Highly recommend for those who do medically need it. Good arch support and easy use.

Lightweight and breathable
I ordered the grey color in my usual size 8. The width is good, but I found that my toes are hitting the tip of the shoes so I suggest that ordering a 1/2 size or a full size larger might fit more comfortably. There is plenty of room for a wide foot, with a generous toe box area which I like. They are easy to put on and the velcro is nice and strong and holds well. The shoes are lightweight and flexible, and the fabric is breathable. The insoles are comfortable and cushiony and the bottom soles are grippy and non-skid. I like the grey color with the white trim and am delighted that these shoes look better when wearing than I thought they would.
