Sizes wrong, return process awful
I could not find a single review of these boots anywhere before I ordered them, but now that I've returned them, I figured I'd come leave a note to help the next unfortunate sap. Firstly, I bought them from the Dingo website. This cost me a twelve to fourteen (not sure because their website and the slip in my package say two different things) restocking/handling fee. Which is obnoxious. However, I chose that over ordering on Amazon because the lone Dingo seller on here has comically bad buyer reviews. Secondly, it took me forever to decide on what size to order because of Dingo's confusing size chart. It's different on Amazon than the website, and on the website it lists several sizes as having the same foot length measurement, so I was unable to discern what the actual sizes were. I always order by inches, not arbitrary size numbers, so I ordered the 8.5, which said 10.125" foot length. My feet are exactly 10" (back off me, I'm a short king), and the size 8 was listed as 9.75". A tiny bit larger made more sense than a fair bit too short, but when they arrived, they were over an inch too big, even with socks. I tried to see if my thickest insoles would fix the problem, and they were still too big. I also looked like Sideshow Bob wearing them, which shows how ridiculously oversized they are. I regularly wear sneakers that are a half size too large so I can fit insoles in them, and they never look noticeably larger than my normal size. Either way, they were goofy and unwearable. So, due to that, I can't give a fully fair assessment of the quality of the boot, but considering how hard they are to order and impossible to exchange, I definitely don't recommend wasting your time and money. The positives here are that they look really nice and seem decently comfortable, if you can get a good fit, but I'm not about to gamble $12-14 a roll on trying on different sizes. Also, I do mean DECENTLY comfortable. As in comfortable enough to wear somewhere where you will not be doing a lot of standing or walking. So overall, no. I don't recommend dealing with Dingo. I'll just hit the Ariat store or something.
