Half a size down for perfect fit

Boot is amazing. Other boots I’m a size 10 but this boot a 9.5 fits. Ankle is secured, comfortable space for toes. Not super tight but we’ll secured! Highly recommend.

Nice looking, but seem to have wider heels and narrower foot.

These came very well packaged, with shaft stays, toes stuffed, correct box: A+ for proper packaging.I wear women's 8.5 to 9 and wanted to try the men's 7, but they are out, so I tried the men's 7 extra wide. One boot fit and one was too loose. I could see the right boot was wider than the left in the foot, and fit much looser.I finally tape-measured them across the arch. The left boot measured smaller/narrower than the right by a few centimeters. (It might not seem like a lot in measurements, but it makes a huge difference in the fit. After all the size 8.5 is only a few centimeters smaller than the size 9). So only the left boot fit, and I have no idea if it was the correct fit for the left or right boot. I can try a men's size 7 elsewhere and find out I guess. But then have to deal with returns, etc. again. The heels were flopping up and down a bit on both boots, so they are wider in the heels. A 3/4 insert can sometimes help but not always. If the heel is just cut too wide, the heels will always be flopping up and down when you walk unless you have wide heels. These boots seem to be cut wider in the heels; and narrower in the front part of the foot (from all the reviews saying they run narrower/tighter in the foot). Otherwise they looked nice with thicker leather, and well made. Just watch out for defects and if in doubt tape measure both boots.

Have paid almost 4 times more in the past

I have been wearing this style of boot for many years. My last 2 pair have been Frye boots, lasting almost 5 years, and then most recently lasting only about 2 years. I wear these boots normally 5 days a week, and I do ride a motorcycle so they (like all my shoes) tend to get scuffed on the left top where the shifter is located. When my last Frye boots wore out, I wasn't happy about looking to spend about $280 for another pair. I found these options for $100, and a 30% coupon brought them down to $70. At that price, I was more than willing to take a gamble. On initial comparison, these boots are pretty much indistinguishable from my Frye. The size, shape (I like the square toe), height, heel, leather, all seemed identical. Putting these on was just as comfortable as my old boots, which is very comfortable. The sole is a little different, with these looking more like a rubber material with grooves, which I think will be an improvement over my smooth-bottom Frye boots. One thing that stumps me though is that given how identical these seem with my Frye, it seems the Frye were a little easier to get on. I thought this was going to be a deal breaker, but after a week it doesn't seem as noticeable. There is definitely a difference, but I can't understand why or find a way to explain it.So, in the end I got a boot that (with the coupon) was about 1/4 the price I expected to pay. The boot seems identical in every way to what I'm used to, and fits and looks fine. Comfort-wise, I personally couldn't ask for more. If you're sitting on the fence about this style of boot, or this brand, I would certainly recommend you give these a shot.

Good riding boots

I have bought these boots before. The place I used to buy them went out of business. So I knew what size to buy. They fit great. Leather is stiffer than my old ones but maybe I forgot how long it takes to break them in. My old ones lasted several years by getting new heel's put on them when I wore them out. I had the shoe repair guy cut the hell's down and put thicker rubber heels on them. They are great riding boots for the price. They are also my work boots. Dingo. Seems to be keeping the quality of their boot up.
