Snug Fit
The fit is true to size - I take an 8.5 and I ordered an 8.5. Although I have to say that it is a snuggly-fitting boot. I would assume that with wear the vegan leather will give and stretch somewhat - that remains to be seen. Also (LOL) there are 2 zippers on each boot - 1 is fake (the one on the outside) and the other is the working one that unzips (on the inside of your leg). I assumed that they both worked and I initially thought that there was something wrong with the zipper because it wouldn't unzip. Other than that they are comfortable and fashionable and since we have had snow in the Northeast, the lug soles arrive at an opportune time. In my opinion, DKNY always makes quality products.

Only one functioning zipper, the other is just for show
I ordered these because I love the look of the boots. They are simple but stylish. More importantly, they have two zippers, and since I have a bad ankle I figured the zippers on either side would make them easy to put on and take off. Unfortunately, when I received them, I discovered that there is, in fact, only one working zipper per boot. The inside zipper is purely for show. More unfortunately, I can't flex my ankle to put the left boot on.So I can say the right boot was a perfect fit and I loved the fit and feel. It's not super tight around my ankle, but is nicely fitted to give room for movement. The leather is nice and clean looking. It's supplements and comfortable. And the heel is a great height. The lug sole feels comfortable, as well.It's not entirely the fault of the manufacturer that I can't wear these, but it is their fault for actually installing what looks like a functioning zipper and then making it not function by sealing the interior. I don't understand the purpose of the boots each having two zippers if they don't both work.

Bulky and a bit uncomfortable
Not the most comfortable boots to be honest. While they fit true to size, the right boot felt snigger in the toe box and pinched my pinky toe making it uncomfortable to walk in them for a full work day. They are also somewhat heavy. I was happy to take them off when I got home and did not put them back on when I left the house again an hour or so later.The style is an update to a classic lug boot with the double zipper (one on each side) and the seam down the middle. However, they are pricey for the fact that they aren’t even real leather.They seem made decently well and like they will hold up over time but for the price, there is likely a comparable real leather version that would stand the test of time even longer.You are paying for the name brand in this case. Not necessarily the quality of the material.For that reason, along with the pinching uncomfortable feeling in the right boot, I would probably not recommend these to others.
