Stylish, Well Built Loafers With Minor Comfort Break-In Needed
I ordered the DKNY Women's Bexina Lug Sole Lace Up Loafer for my teen daughter who wanted to diversify her shoe collection, and these were an instant hit. The shiny patent leather exterior looks great in person and gives the shoe a modern, fashion-forward look. These are really beautiful shoes in terms of quality and details. I also think they're cute on, but not my normal style. I normally wear a 6.5 (which is what I ordered), and tried them on with kind of thick socks (the ones I normally wear with sneakers), and they were a little tight. The leather feels a little stiff too, so I think that they will need to be broken in a little. However, you can just tell they're good quality, and I think it will be worth the breaking in period to get them more comfortable. I would recommend maybe ordering a half size up if you want instant comfort or to wear thicker socks. I didn't notice any strong manufacturing odors from them, in fact, I had to double-check the description to see whether they were actual leather or not, because I can't smell a leather smell from them either.

The quality you would expect from DKNY. This is a very well constructed shoe that would go with a very wide array of clothing styles. The black patent finish is easy to wipe clean. There is a small metal stud trim around the diameter of the shoe where the sole meets the upper which gives them a bit of extra flare. The heel (upper) has a vertical DKNY logo in shiny print that accents with the patent finish of the shoe. The sole is robust with a deep pattern that should provide safety on slick surfaces. The insole is lightly padded for comfort. This is a beautiful shoe and the quality is evident. They are on the heavier side if that’s a concern for you. Arrived quickly with no damage and fits true to size.

No flexibility in the foot at all. Hard to walk in and will gice you bad blisters.
Id give these 5 stars for style but they are so uncomfortable around the ankle that it makes them nearly unbearable.These shoes have no flexibility to them at all. Theyre very stiff so you feel like youre wearing blocks on your feet. The sole is quite comfortable but the stiff sides will slowly eat their way through your ankles, making them quite unwearable. Which is a bummer because they are quite cute and seem to be well made. I just think the materials used cost them quite a few points in my review. You'd have to wear extremely thick socks with these to not get major blisters. Even then theyre still hard to walk in because youll feel like your foot is in a cast.

Very Cute, Not Comfortable
I love the look of these shoes - they’re super cute with flare jeans and make me feel like I’m back in the ’90s! They’re heavy and very well made, but also quite rigid and not very comfortable. They run a bit large too. I usually wear a 7.5 and these lift in the back unless I tie them very tight. I’ll definitely need thick socks.These aren’t an all-day or long-walk kind of shoe because I can tell they’re going to rub at the heels and ankles. For the price, they’re not very practical, but they are stylish and fun in a retro way.
