Good quality shoe, but not for much walking
I got these shoes for my wife; she really liked the look. It is more of a flat style shoe, with a short heel that is sturdy and secure. The front of the shoe is pointy, but there is still room for her toes to move around and the point is not so long that she trips over it or kicks things. The shoe is also versatile - it can be worn with a business casual outfit to work or on a night out with a nicer dress.The only downside to consider is that they flop a lot. The band that goes around the ankle keeps the shoe snug to your heel, but that makes the shoe feel like it’s pulling on your ankle while you walk. This “pull-flop”feeling is not painful or uncomfortable; it just feels awkward. It’s annoying enough to limit their usage to scenarios that involve very little walking.

Comfy if you don't have an issue with the strap
I'm usually a 6.5 and bought a 7 since patent leather doesn't "give". I think that was the right choice. They are comfortable but my issue is with the ankle strap. I can't tighten it to the last hole because of a reinforcement piece stopping the buckle and it's a struggle to get it in the next hole because the hole wan't punched well enough. Over time it should get better. However, the side vertical straps are also an issue; for me theyre too long so if I keep them I will need a cobbler to cut them down. They were on sale but it's odd the size 7 was $70 and the 6.5 was $55. Since I need the 7, on principal and due to the strap issues, I will return them. Too bad because they are super cute and a great cut at the toe. If they happen to fit you well, they're fun (I bought the red; a nice rich cherry red, not a bright watermelon red so it works as a neutral.

Cute but so painful
Unfortunately for me, these are unwearable. They look fun, but I can't stand or walk in them because they rub and hurt too much. It's the ankle strap. It hits me right on the ankle bone and rubs even when standing still. It is just the most awkward place to hit - if the ankle strap were shorter it would be fine.The seam on the inside is not helping (see last picture) but it's overall the whole thing, the material is stiff and not loose, so it is hitting the ankle bone even without the friction of walking. The ankle strap is slightly loose but not enough. ANd I have fairly thin ankles (8 inches around). This is with the strap on the largest setting/hole.Another issue is that I can't get the strap to even close all the way, the largest setting/hole is not punched all the way through or the material is too stiff or something, I can't get it to close.If not for these basic issues these would be fun shoes. I like the red color and the fun metal accent on the heel. The shape is cute as well with the ankle strap. The toes are VERY pointed as well so they might hurt there after a bit of time as well, but I have no way of determining that since I can't even wear these.They seem to be pretty well made otherwise!

Daily Wear Testing These Sandals
I grabbed these casual sandals for summer and theyve been my go-to shoes this week! love how versatile they are - worn them with everything from sundresses to jeans and they look good with each outfit. the ankle strap adjusts nicely and stays put during walking unlike some cheaper sandals that loosen up. cushioning is decent for this style and the neutral color goes with pretty much anything in my closet. few things to note tho - needed about a day to break in the straps (got a tiny blister first wear but fine after that) and the buckle can sometimes catch on maxi dresses if youre not careful. tried them for both quick errands and longer walking days and they hold up fine. makes summer outfit planning easier having something that works for multiple occasions. footbed has good grip so your feet dont slide around when they get sweaty. just remember to adjust the ankle strap properly first time or it can rub and maybe avoid long walks until theyre broken in. nice having sandals that look dressier than flip flops but still feel casual enough for everyday. the sole has decent grip on both concrete and smooth floors. helps transition from day to evening without needing to change shoes. ordered my regular size 8 and they fit true to size with enough room in the toe area.
