These Are Great
These may be funky, but they are sure not junky. Wasn't sure what to make of them when I took them out of the box, but they have definitely grown on me. It is like a comfortable sweater and a really comfortable sneaker had a baby, and this is the result. I have worn them, and they are super comfortable. The soles were a little slippery when I first put them on, but I went out to our patio, which has a brushed finish on the concrete and scuffed them about for a little bit, and no more slipperiness. They are also a little on the warm side, which right now is not a bad thing, I will see if they do the opposite in the warmer weather. They let you slip right into them, and you can slip right out of them when taking them off. I really like them, and they feel good on my feet, that's what a good shoe should do.

Cute and Comfortable
I recently tried the DKNY Women's Aveline Lace-Up Sneaker in Black and Off-White for use on my walking pad at work. Initially, I wasn't sure about the style, but I love them in person. They are cute and extremely comfortable, thanks to the stretchy sides. I can easily leave them laced and slip them on and off without hassle. I found them to be true to size, so I didn't need to order up or down; however, I should mention that I do not have a wide foot.My only criticism is that the sole lacks a gripping tread, so they could feel slick depending on the surface you intend to use them on.

Very Cool Design with One Exception
Review by Mary: This review is for the "DKNY Women's Aveline Lace Up Sneaker", Size 11, in the Color: Black.As soon as I opened the shoe box I liked the look of these sneakers; very cool (pics 1-3). The backs/heels have a cool metal-looking strip & the bottom of the heels are straight/squared off (pic 4). The tread is decent & you can see the squared-off heel (pic 5), which is a look I haven't seen before.There is a continuous piece of the shoe material that goes under the tongue (pic 6), which is very awkward. The material is only about 1.75" from the back of the shoe (pic 7) & doesn't have very much stretch to it. I had a tough time fitting my foot through the opening, since unlacing them did no good, because of the extra material; the laces appear to be more decorative than functional. Once I got my foot in, it was very uncomfortable, because the material was tight against the top of my foot, where the foot meets the ankle - & this was barefoot, I wouldn't be able to wear socks.

Stylish Shoes
These are very cute slip on DKNY sneakers. They do have laces which lace up but are easy to slip on. The sole is thick and these seem like quality shoes. I ordered my normal size of 8.5 and they fit nicely so I'd say they're pretty true to size. I like that these sneakers can be dressed up or down and would go with several looks.
