Great look with (finally!) a comfortable heel strap.
These shoes are gorgeous! I only wish I had found them in December, as they would have been PERFECT for New Year's Eve. They add the perfect amount of sparkle and bling to any outfit, and the star details on the front really make them stand out. I love the clean look of a sling-back heel, but I have always run into issues with them when they have the little bit of elastic at the back of the heel. You need that bit of stretch and give so that the strap doesn't cut into your heel, but putting it at the back always causes chafing for me. The stretch and relax of the elastic bit causes it to rub on the back of my heel and really irritate my skin. These shoes have solved that problem. By simply placing the stretchy bit on the inside of the foot, off center, it completely removes the heel chafing issue for me, making these shoes SO much more comfortable than ordinary sling backs. As for their looks, you really can't beat them. The sparkle level is the perfect amount of bling for going out and strutting your stuff. The heel height is high enough to be sexy and dressed up, but not so high as to be crazy or painful. These also come in black, and that color would be great for either going out or wearing to a professional work setting. (I do think that the silver bling version would be a bit much for the office). I don't find any high heels truly "comfortable", but these are definitely at the more tolerable and wearable end of the high-heel spectrum for me. These are definitely a five-star shoe for both wearability and looks. I highly recommend.

This pair of DKNY Womens Beana Ankle Strap Heel with Star Embellishments in Silver are very gorgeous in person. They are sparkly as expected. There is a warning that the glitter might come off, but I ran my fingers all over the shoe with nothing coming off. Unfortunately, I did spot a small spot by one of the heels that seemed to have excess glue running off.The heel is just the right height though I do wish it was a bit more substantial for easier walking. As someone who does not wear heels often, these were just slightly less uncomfortable than other heels I have. I do find them quite versatile, can be worn with pants, skirts, or a dress. The silver compliments the colors I wear most often (black or blue). Overall, I like the shoes, but wish they had better quality control (the excess glue) for the price tag of over one hundred dollars!
