The chemical smell of these shoes is AWFUL.

These smell TERRIBLE. Three stars because the boots are cute, comfortable, and adequate in terms of quality. But they absolutely stink. I have had to leave them outside the house for a week now, and the smell of chemicals is still extremely strong. They smell so aggressively cancerous that I would have returned them if we weren't in the middle of rainy season. My daughter has worn them twice in the rain, and they have been outside for many days now, and the smell is still awful. Do not buy these.

The stench

The boots are fine and they fit well. However I cannot keep them inside my apartment because of the smell. I don't know if it's the material used on the outside of the rain boots but it stinks. These boots have been sitting outside on my lanai since delivery. The smell is still awful. That's why only 2 stars are given.

Cute but stinks like chemicals

I usually wear a 9.5 and have a high instep and wide feet (I'm a woman) and I had to return the size 10s but the 11s fit just fine -- mainly I wanted to be able to easily slip my foot in and out of these boots without having to use my hands and I can mostly do this.BUT THE SMELL of chemicals these boots emit is gross. I've had them outside airing for several day and when I brought them back in they stunk just as bad. Not sure that odor will ever diminish but I sure hope so.There is a thin, cheap insole and the boots don't have any real liner or insulation, so they are not for any cold temps unless you wear wool or thermal socks.They sure are cute, though!
