Ok. This may be too technical.... These shoes fit perfect first thing in the morning. However, after walking around for the day, or especially after working on my feet all day, I need a half size larger.The company was very quick to respond to my email and immediately sent out a a larger size. I tried them on dance class and I can say "nice!".For the money, these are perfect for the beginner.
Very nice quality leather shoe. Fit quite well, but next pair will be ordered a little bigger. They are a comfortable shoe and I was able to stretch them a bit with shoe trees. Dance nicely on good and poor dance floors. Can't be beat for the money.
I usually get a size 10.5 for my formal shoes because I usually wear thin socks with them. This brand has a snug fit for 10.5. But since there wasn't a size 11 when I ordered, I decided to go for the 10.5. Still, it's flexible and provides just the right "slide" and "stop" for ballroom dancing. The dislikes: craftsmanship is average. You can see the glue marks where the sole meets the uppers. How it performs in the long run remains to be seen. The other amusing thing about the order: the coupon that came with it was for blue and white porcelain. I suppose the fellows who packed it in China weren't quite certain about what was on the coupon, and what product it was being packed with.
Love the flexible arch. Makes it easy to take off shoes. Flexing foot made foot more comfortable.Foot was dry from holes letting moisture escape. Used as pipe organ shoe. More comfortable to walk in then traditional organ shoes. Liked the taller heel and shorter length minimizing the part to hit pedals by accident.
The shoe is far cheaper than brands that I trust already with producing my dance shoes, but I needed shoes that would serve a specific purpose for a brief time and not break my bank. These met that need. Soles are soft and a felt material, so I’ll be putting rubber skids on them. I expect them to last me (with heavy dance-use and walking on streets in parades) a little over a year, which is a great deal as far as I’m concerned.
This is my second order of the same shoe from DKZSYIM. Ordered the first one 6-8 months ago, and it's still going strong. Wear them 3-4 times a week for ballroom lessons, classes, and open dancing, so can't complain about the durability or comfort. Decided to buy another one for good measure. Another reviewer noted the shoe does run small, so I heeded the advice (I usually wear an 8M, but needed an 8.5M). See you on the dance floor.
Not very good quality control. The 3rd time I have worn them and the tongue actually fell out of the shoe when I went to put it on! Turns out it was never stitched in place! Evidence of a needle stitch in the material but evidently they ran out of thread! Not sure if I want to return as it's not worth the postage and waiting time to get another pair. I need them for a dance class I'm taking. Very disappointed in the early failure.
