Good value for the price
I am happy with this shoe and the main reason for writing a review is I didn’t start out that way.I liked the classy subtle sparkle look and very much wanted them to fit, if nothing else returning them to China was a problem.I was completely new to Dance, any sort of Dance Shoe and in short, completely clueless what to expect. I’d ordered several different pairs hoping at least one would fit and particularly liked the look of this pair with just the hint of gold. When 1st tried on thought nah, the fit is all wrong. The straps were way too big/wide yet a smaller size be too short and an even narrower foot bed, already thinking my foot would slide right out the toe with walking alone and immediately set them aside to return. Then there was that China thing, and I really liked the look so tried on again several days later with same end result and, went thru the exact same process a third time. Now 2 ½ weeks later, I really liked the look, and the price, unpacked them once again, and for reasons I cannot explain, the fourth time was the charm; I am loving this shoe and appears a perfect fit.To be honest I’m not sure how durable the gold material will be. Shoe material like this tends to disintegrate in this tropical paradise climate and this shoe is to be worn when engaged in vigorous (read sweaty) activity and there is considerable stress on the ankle strap closure. However, this is by far the least expensive pair I’ve tried – and so far the most comfortable. I haven’t danced in them yet, only worn around the house for the last 8 hours completely forgetting I have strappy little evening heels on my feet. For me, that says a lot, remarkable really.After much consideration I ordered ½ size up (size 8 vs my customary 7 ½.) The thin toe straps enclose all my toes, do not press on my bunion and are very comfortable. The straps nearer my instep are roomy, and gape when flexing my foot a certain way but my foot has yet to shift around or slide forward. The ankle straps hold my foot securely with no pinching or scraping and the entire foot bed remains sung against the sole of my foot. I have every expectation to Salsa dance the night away happy as can be. The ankle straps are very long, but I don’t see a problem trimming them down and punching another hole with an awl if they become too lose. I like the included carry bag and heel protectors, presumably just the correct size.I wish there was a sturdy box for long term storage but it would obviously increase the shipping cost. This was the last of 5 pair (ordered at the same time) to arrive but any form of shipping from China to the US has to be expensive with Customs and all, Hawaii to the Mainland US is bad enough. I’m happy they pay the shipping cost and any savings by ‘best way’ i.e. slowest, are apparently passed on to me with the price.Overall I am very glad to have located this manufacturer and seller, expect to order another color in the future and recommend giving this shoe a try, maybe 3 or 4 trys. .

As a general rule, it can be risky to order dance shoes online. Fitting can be difficult among different types of shoes and quality without seeing the shoe is a concern.These shoes fit exactly as I expected (select your normal shoe size - they should seem a smidge small when you put them on, but that's the standard for ballroom - you want a bit of toe off the end). The quality is sturdy. Though I don't expect they'll last more than a six months to a year, they're sufficient for practice - and dance shoes degrade quickly anyway. Can't beat the price on these.The sole is, in fact, suede. They are legit ballroom shoes, and they have hook-clasps so you don't actually have to fiddle with a buckle every time.All in all, very pleased. So glad I took a chance and bought dance shoes online. I was looking at nothing less than $100 if I'd bought something in a retail store.My only complaint, which didn't affect the rating because ultimately it didn't affect the fit or feel of the shoe, is that the ankle straps don't seem well-proportioned to shoe size. I have average-size ankles I think, but I had to set the straps on nearly the smallest option, which results in a lot of overhang around the heel. If you've got especially narrow ankles, you may be punching a few of your own holes in the straps to make them smaller.

Great for the price!! Excellent Customer Service!
I purchased this shoe in a size 6, which is the size of nearly all of my dance shoes. They sent an extra pair, which was really nice, however, both were large in the soles and the straps were so long that I needed to bore extra holes so that it would fit around my ankles. I tried them out for a couple of hours but could not get used to the extra room in the toes. After giving feedback to the seller, they automatically sent a replacement (it was a pleasant surprise) that was a half size smaller and they fit nicely. As an avid dancer, these are not quite sturdy enough for rigorous training and competition, but they are perfect for practice and casual dancing. Five stars for stellar customer service and quick response to my initial feedback. For the price and because of the customer care, I would definitely buy this shoe again.

I had left a review that was not 5 stars on these shoes and I do not see it posted on this page any more. I am writing this because they are not like any of the reviews that I had read which lead me to buying the shoes and I wanted to prevent anyone else from falling for the false advertising. Since my review was posted I have received multiple emails, text messages, phone calls, and even contacted me on a social media app asking me to please change my review to 5 stars and they would give me a full refund. I am not interested in the refund I am more interested in having the truth out there. I am a social Latin dancer, I dance once or twice a week for a couple of hours. These shoes fell apart after about a month of use. The buckle on the shoe does not properly buckle, the ankle strap is way too long, the shoe itself wore away far too fast for the little amount that I used them. The seller wanted me to post a false review. Yes they did offer to give me my money back though which is the only reason they even get 1 star. Thank you.

This pair of dance shoes is attractive and well-made. They feel solid when I stand with all my weight on them, but are still soft and flexible where they need to be. I have somewhat wide feet and when I first wore them, they were a little bit narrow across the ball of my foot, but after several wears the straps have stretched a bit and can be worn comfortably for a night of salsa dancing.
