Step Up Your Style with Comfort and Class
I recently got the DOCKERS Men’s Darnell Boat Shoe in Dark Tan, size 9.5, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I slipped them on, the shoes felt incredibly comfortable, thanks to their soft insole and flexible sole. The dark tan color is versatile and stylish, making it easy to pair with both casual and semi-formal outfits. The craftsmanship is impressive—the stitching is clean, and the leather has a quality feel that looks even better over time. The boat shoe design is classic but modern enough to elevate any outfit. Plus, the shoes provide excellent grip, so they’re practical for both everyday wear and more active situations.Overall, the DOCKERS Darnell Boat Shoes combine style, comfort, and durability effortlessly. Whether you’re heading to a casual hangout or dressing up for a night out, these shoes are a solid choice. Highly recommended!

docker is always a good pick for loafers, these ran a little wide.
dockers have always been on the higher end as far as quality and durability are concerned and white i found these were a little big on me they were not lose enough to go to a smaller size, id say they are a medium weight compared to cheaper alternatives.

Needs Socks Here
I’m unclear why these shoes and I didn’t get along.I wear between a 9.5 and a 10 shoe. I requested a 9.5 in this case. My first examination of the shoe was all positive. It looks great, is light and has the kind of non-skid outersole I’d like in a boat shoe. In this case I was looking for a driving shoe. Had it fit, this would have been ideal for that purpose. The shoes were both too loose to be comfortable. If anything I expected too tight but no, these were too loose. I figured that was what the laces were for but they weren’t effective. The shoes bodies are too stiff for the laces to snug them up. I checked and the order here is a 9.5 and the tongue of the shoe is stamped 9.5.Note: I wore them without socks. Add socks and they would be closer to a good fit or maybe there but my intention is to go sockless.

Dockers never fail to deliver
My dad owns a boat and owns dozens of pairs of Dockers which is how I found out about the brand. This IS the boater's shoe. I always admired the quality leather construction, how easy it is to slip in and out of them, and how versatile they are. I don't boat, but fortunately they work with all kinds of outfits.I love this two-tone color blend because they work well with whatever kind of khaki pants or shorts you'll wear them with. As soon as you take these out of the box, you just know you have a quality shoe on your hands. I wear a size 13-14 depending on the brand and I found the 13s to be a snug but not too tight of a fit; with socks. They feel a bit better barefoot but I've seen guys wear them both ways. They feel tough and durable. And most of all, they're very comfortable. I wrestle with the price of these but Dockers are a great, long standing brand with a reputation for great boat style shoes. I would honestly purchase these outright if I were looking for this style again. All in all, an excellent addition to my rapidly growing shoe collection.

this is the right loafer-style shoe for me
Being that I jog or engage in intensive foot based cardio workouts six days a week; being able to provide my feet with extra leisure and comfort, is always a good thing. The Dockers brand has developed a loafer style slip on shoe, that allows me to wear it within a business casual way, with my workplace attire. The light brown leather material is sturdy and holds the shoe together consistently, rather than wearing down after a few wears. I like the boat style, because its wide and roomy, while the sides and back keep it formed and looking like a shoe as its worn.Something that is different with this and unique, compared to the many other loafer type of shoes I have in my closet from other brands, is the decorative laces on the front. They of course do not do anything, other than to add a bit of extra style to the visual element, along with being an artistic gem from the designer, because its like a fun fusion and tribute to lace up shoes, while being the complete opposite.I have always been a fan of this brand, and likewise am happy to see the Dockers name, on the side of each shoe stitched into the heel region. As for that heel section; it has a nice light brown back panel piece, that adds a different color of brown to the shoe, as well as act as extra support the back section needs, to keep that full form while the person wearing it is walking. The price of this is not too bad with it being under a hundred yet close to that figure.Overall, I am satisfied with this and recommend it.

Light, Comfortable Shoes
These are light, comfortable and look good. They are easy to slip on and off and fit snugly and comfortably. The soles are relatively flat with a slight increase at the heel and they run true to size (on the slightly large end, but I wouldn't recommend ordering a size down). These work great for my business casual approach in the office.
