This is a nice slipper, but the size does run small. I took the advice from several of the other reviews on this point and although my husband wears a size 10, I ordered a size 11. Good thing because even the size 11 was super tight. They have since loosened up a bit with wear, but are still a snug fit. I suspect that a size 12 would have been a better choice but he doesn't want to send them back so said he will live with them as is.
The overall construction seems to be very good. I like that you can order them by your shoe size and not simply S,M or L. They are a little tight to start, but that is to be expected. The lining will soon compress and fit properly. Now I did have an interesting issue with my first pair. I did not notice it the first evening of wearing them. However, the second day, the LH slipper squeaked with every step. It did not matter what type of surface - carpet or wood flooring. I could even replicate the sound in my hand, by slightly flexing the slipper. I really liked the slippers and decided to try one more pair. The new pair is fine. I would not hesitate to order them again in the future, they seem to be a good value for their cost.
They are comfortable
I’ve had this first pair for a little over 2.5 years worn only in-doors and partially outside for light tasks like taking out the garbage and light yard work on dry days. Very sturdy and hardy slippers that partially wear like a shoe. Super comfy slippers.
I am looking for a replacement for Tarmac slippers, which I have not been able to find lately so this was one of three pairs I ordered. Toes, wide sectiin of the foot, and heel all fit great. Good padding makes for a comfortable step, there are a ton of good points to make. So why am I not giving it five stars you may ask? The first problem is sole of the slippers. Slipper is meant to indicate that they go on and off easily, not a lack of traction. I mean you get plenty of grip on tiles, not so much on carpet or hardwood, which is most of my house. So I took one star off due to lack of traction. The second star is because of the ankle section of the slipper. The picture really underplays how high that part goes, it really rubs against the tendons on the back of your leg, not I said leg not foot. Heightwise with the size 13 it is about even with the top of the ball of my ankle, and that is like an inch too high for me. Honestly if it was lower on the heel section and had even just a bit more traction I would go five stars, but based on uncomfortable legs and future half asleep face plants I am going to leave it at three.
Great slippers! Have purchased a second pair for second home.Theses slipper are just right. Other slippers have been too tight not allowing the feet to breath. These can be worn with socks as well which is nice. They are really warm, which is great as they are not a tight slipper. Also arch support is really nice!I have had dockers, lands end and llbean slippers and chose to take a chance on these and was glad I did!Great price!!!
