Nice shoe, but runs small

This Dockers boat shoe is not a lightweight slip-on. As other reviewers have noted, the size chart is not accurate. If you order, get the next size up. I wear a 10.5 but I ordered an 11 (standard width, not wide). My toes are right at the end. Any shorter and the shoe would be unwearable. Even at the next size up, the fit is snug, but not uncomfortable. This is a shoe you will have to break in, and until you do, be prepared to use a shoehorn to get your foot in there. Shoe trees might also be helpful when the shoes aren't worn. Aside from that, this is a good looking, well-constructed shoe that looks like it will last a while. I have worn Dockers for years, and they hold up pretty well. Hopefully this pair will as well.

Really nice product, BUT...

Very comfortable! I get loads of compliments and like it so much that this is now my 10th pair. I use an insert with all my shoes and these work very well. BUT the size does not stay true, on repeat orders. I've purchased these many times through the years, most times perfect , other times the size SAYS the same, but can differ in measurement between a size small and a size larger.

Stiff and a bit narrow

I have a regular 10.5 M sized foot, and almost all shoes fit. This is a good looking shoe, and looks sturdy, but the leather is stiff. As several other posted mentioned, it runs narrow. If a shoe is not a full "D" or "M" it is tight for me, and this shoe is tight. The back collar bites into my heel as well, and it caused bleeding.I returned them. They may be right for you, but if you tend wide or you are unhappy with stiff leather you might want to keep looking.

RUNS SMALL

Absolutely run small. I wear a size 10 regular width. After seeing reviews saying they run small I ordered a 10.5. Fit perfect. Never ever have I worn a 10.5 but glad I heeded the advice of those wiser peeps. Look good, fits good with thin socks. Will take some breaking in as leather requires but I don't see a problem wearing without socks.Edit:2nd picture is after treating with Mink oil. Of you do as I do buy a lighter color as it will darken a shade but will protect the stitching and condition the leather.
