Beautiful, well made shoe BUT they are NOT a burgundy color.
Beautiful and so comfortable. I wear a 6, ordered a 6 and they fit like a glove. I love these shoes BUT even though the box says burgundy and I ordered burgundy they are not burgundy. They are a beautiful shade of chocolate brown. If you stand on one foot, raise your right arm, close your eyes and think “burgundy”, you might get a hint of burgundy. Put them next to a pair of burgundy pants or top and they clash and brown prevails in the shoe. I have not returned them as I keep trying to justify keeping them for their brown color. The chain across the top is so pretty and they are well made. I don’t find the leather to be too thin. I prefer a more tailored loafer and not a heavy loafer with thick leather.

My New Favorites - Comfortable Patent Leather !!!
I ADORE these shooes! They are patent leather, but the leather is flexible & soft. Who knew patent could be Comfortable. These are! I do a lot of walking and these are fantastic. I worn them while visiting London and walked a couple of miles and only had a tiny note from my feet that they wanted to change :) which is unreal considering these are dressy and not sneakers. I am between an 8 & 8.5, with feet a touch on the wide side (I do not wear wide, but cannot wear narrow shoes - for reference Cole Haan are too narrow) I got the 8.5 and put in a heel grip and they are perfect.
