This is my 12th pair of Donald Pliner sandals. I had the Fiji ones when they first came out which were my favorite. Have them in silver, gold, and black. My later ones are the Fifis which I also like. Have them in taupe, white, red, yellow, and silver. Silver ones are my top favorite color since they can be worn with everything. ❤️❤️❤️

Cute sandals ( that’s all ) ! Sandal soles are a piece of solid wood. No cushion on the footbed. Of course there is some very thin covering over the footbed. Too expensive to return due to postage. To repeat another review- a Chinese knockoff. A friend of mine told me about Donald Plinar shoes and how comfortable they are- another reason I believe they’re a knockoff. Anyway donating them instead of file 13- at least not throwing the $$$$ in trash.
I like the look of this sandal but it is a bit narrow. That is the reason for the fits somewhat small selection for fit. The length of the sandal is actually a little long. I ordered 10 due to other reviews suggesting I size up by 1/2 a size. I'll try a 9 /2 next time. I got plenty of compliments the first day I wore them. Sharp looking sandal. I'll get lots of wear out of these.

I just received them and I don't know what to think...The lef one is the old one.... I compared them to the previous pair I bought in 2015, which are still in great condition and I love them. I've worn them more than you can imagine and they're still in very good shape... These new ones don't weigh the same, they're slippery, the leather on top doesn't feel like real leather... it's like plastic, they're shorter... I don't know... it's not the same, the quality has decreased so much that I don't know if I should return them. They're no longer made in Italy... no, now they're made in China... how awful...
These are comfortable, but the footbed is already scuffed and I have only had them for about a month. They are comfortable and true to size, but the color is rubbing off the footbed near the toe and heel, such that they look sort of old already. This is my third pair, but they are holding up the least well. I am not sure if they are knock-offs.
