Size down 1
This is just first impressions because I just got them. I ordered these about three months ago in my usual size (US 8 Womens) and they were wayyyyy too big. So this time I ordered a US 7 Womens and they fit absolutely perfect! So I definitely suggest you size down 1! If you're a 9, get an 8. If you're a 12, get an 11, etc etc. I can tell they'll need breaking in, but I was aware of that when I bought them. Overall, super happy. Quality seems A Ok to me because I'm not super picky about that kinda stuff :)

Old School Comfort and Style
I have wide feet, but these shoes were comfortable out of the box. They look good and they feel good. I love that they go with dressy clothes or something more casual. They do make me a little bit taller and I like that. These are great with jeans. I just got a Doc Marten shoe care kit and am looking forward to using that on the new Docs that I got. I tried the vegan version of this same shoe, but it was way too tight. I'm glad that I took the chance on the leather version. These shoes look and feel great.

Quality control, anyone?
I own a pair of the 1460W in 5 UK/7 US Women. In comparison, this shoe is wider and slightly longer. I understand that this is a unisex/men's style, so I expected it to be a bit roomier but not longer. However, compared to the 1460W, I have not had to break in the instep at all. The heel was painful from the very beginning but before I started to wear these, I folded the stiff part back several times and it seems to have helped stop it from digging into my foot. Style wise, I am very happy with these shoes and I am excited to wear them in.However, I do have several complaints. My shoes did not come with an extra pair of yellow shoelaces like Doc Martens usually do. Additionally, upon receiving these shoes, I immediately noticed that there was some strange creasing on the top of both shoes. On my left shoe, it almost looks as if the leather was not smoothed out before being sewn into place, causing a fold, while my right shoe has a combination of almost air-bubbly creases. Ultimately I decided to keep this pair because it took forever for them to arrive and I'm an impatient person. Also, I imagine that the odd creasing will not be very noticeable once I begin to wear these in a little bit more. However, I hope that in future purchases, OutdoorEquipped and Amazon will do a better job of performing quality control checks, especially on products that customers are paying $90+ for.
