Awesome Maryjane’s!
I ordered my normal size. I feel like if I ordered a size smaller they would be too small. My feet do slide a little in them but I think once winter comes and I wear heavier socks it won’t be a problem. I absolutely love these Maryjane’s they look so cute with a dress and I think they are really comfortable as soon as you put them on. I wore them all day with no problem. I never had a platform shoe so it does seem a little clunky at first but they are perfect!

Size down!
Originally I had bought my normal size (size 9W) that I usually wear in docs but these were definitely too big, even with thick socks and silicone ankle protectors. Ordered a size down and they fit perfectly! If you’re in between sizes definitely size down! Love these shoes!

after reading the reviews, i bought a pair of 8s and a pair of 9s because 9s are my true size, but it was recommended to size down. the 8s fit properly, so definitely get a whole size down. these shoes are pretty comfortable, but have no arch support, clearly, and are quite heavy. some of my other shoes are pretty heavy, too, so this doesn't bother me much; just keep in mind their weight! they're also a pretty clunky shoe, as are all doc martens, and my feet are rather big, which kind of makes the shoes' large-ness worse, but they're super cute, and i love the flower buckle detail. i would recommend!!

Cute Docs, really big! I Ordered a size smaller than usual, for my niece. I had to return those for a size smaller still. She could have used another 1/2 size smaller than these even. She wears thick socks.

Awesome shoes
I don’t usually write reviews, but these are worth the extra effort. They’re low cut enough not to rub on the back of my heels and ankles, wide enough in the toe box for complete comfort, and squishy enough to wear all day. Like most platform Docs they are HEAVY, but who cares when you look this cute? I’m regularly an 8 in most shoes, 7 in Docs, and the 7s are perfect.

Cute but painful!
I love doc martens and I knew before purchasing that these would be difficult to break in, and sure enough, I've been wearing these somewhat often for over 2 months and they still kill my feet after about 2 hours. I'm hoping that as I break them in they will fit better, because right now my heels slip out of them as I walk, and my toes are smushed into the sides of the shoe. I'm a size 8 in nike AF1's, Birkenstocks, and Crocs, and these fit the weirdest of any shoe I've worn!!! And if I get a size up or size down, they will be too long/too small, so I can't change sizes to fix this issue.As someone who is 5'2 though, I needed some cute platform shoes to wear to concerts. I think I would recommend these but be aware they will hurt your heels for a while. If you don't want to deal with that, buy a different type of doc martens like the 1461's or something. I kind of wish I did at this point.
