Great quality shoe

docs are such a great quality. They feel like such a durable shoe and they are comfortable once broken into. I fell in love with the lace up design. I got the shoe in all colors. I noticed that Amazon had a better price than in store and that’s what prompted me to order. They fit true to size. I’ve worn them several times and I’ve had so many compliments and no issues. The leather is softer so I feel like they’re comfier than other docs I own

Beautiful unique shoes!

Love, love, love, love these shoes! I have a bunion and no problem with these pointed toe shoes. They are absolutely adorable and not as heavy feeling as my Doc boots. They’re beautifully made and very high quality! I can’t get over how comfortable they are. I have the crushed velvet boots and those took some time to break in, but these didn’t. I normally wear an 8.5 in cheaper shoes, but I got these in an 8 and they fit perfectly!

You need these shoes!

I thought these shoes would look weird, and maybe a little too young for me. NOPE! Wow, what a great style. And better yet, they're surprisingly comfortable (after a bit of wear, that is). The classic, soft Dr. Martens footbed is my favorite footbed of all time. The leather on the black pair is soft and flexible, as is the "fur" on the printed pair (see pic 3). The ONLY thing that interrupts the comfort is the narrowing at the widest part of the shoe (I'm a medium width). But a bit of wear stretches it out just enough it becomes soft fast.I wore these all day, right out of the box, with no socks. Zero complaints about comfort after the very short, initial break-in of the toe.The laces are a waxed cotton and soften up almost immediately, so no discomfort there.Oh, size DOWN if you are a whole size. I am a size 8, and got a 7. I think if you are a size 8.5, the 8 would be fine. But most of all, it's the STYLE I love. I got the black pair first--and the next day, I went back and found a seller with the leopard available. So cute, comfortable...and just a little rad. Perfect for a Gen Xer who refuses to give up on the rock and roll girl inside!

Cute but run a little small

They’re cute! I do wear a 9-9.5 but most docs I’d size down. I got a 9 and they’re a little small but there were no half sizes so I couldn’t get a 9.5. The only other con is how rough the laces are, they’re a bit scratchy and stiff. Might swap it out for a softer pair of laces! Still gonna keep them and see if they stretch with wear and feel a little comfier in time.

Sizing is impossible

I give up completely on ordering Doc Martin's. The sizing is awful but the shoes were beautiful. Tried a size 5 and 6. They're either painfully numbing or look like clown shoes that fly right off.

Beautiful design! But break it in.

I am OBSESSED with these, they are so pretty and the perfect combination of tough and dainty. I will say they have a bit of a breaking in period- I accidentally wore them for a long walk without socks and my feet paid the price in blisters, but wearing light socks the next times I wore them alleviated the issue (I might see if I put a little moleskin on the inside back where the lace loop rubs the back of my ankle, and possibly a slight insole or bit of fluff in the toe to keep my foot from sliding forward, which I think was the real cause of the blisters). Like most shoes with the rubber doc sole, these are on the heavier side, and I think I agree with other reviewers that they run a smidge on the narrow side, but otherwise seem true to size (if you wear a different size between the boots and loafers/sandals, I’d go with the sandal size)

Cute, Comfy, Doc did it again! :)

It always amazes me when homies from the Doc garden start sproutin’ up sayin’- omg they’re so heavy. Uhhhh yuh! They’re docs guys. Welcome to it.Okay, anyway- these guys are it! Super witchy. Super cute. Super comfy! A little wear-in time. I’m on my second time in them and my toes are a bit sore but, I know that’ll pass like all doc hangs do. So yeah don’t ask for fashion and then complain about it. They’re not here for comfort or precision/ let’s be real/ we wanna look cute and be somewhat comfy. So if you can be honest with yourself and you care about the ethics of doc history- I’d get them. You won’t come back rating anything less than 5 stars for your own weak tendencies :-*
