I love more narrow toe box on these shoes. I wish they had this narrow stile without the heels, and they would be my go to boots. I also have a pair of 1460s and while they're beautiful, I love the narrower foot profile that the Spence's give me. Perfect rainy winter boots.
Love these boots! I have the lower heeled Chelsea boot, so the Spence is a nice taller version for nicer outfits.

Lately, I'm usually a size 8.5 so i ordered the size 9. It was too big even with my thickest socks, but it seems worth noting that i've had weird shoe/feet problems lately...i swear to god it's like my feet have somehow grown half a size in the past yr so I was sure i couldn't go wrong with size 9!Anyways, I wish I'd checked the sizing chart out before i ordered, cause i can see now that it DOES conveniently show that size 9 would be too big for me. They're roomy enough for my not so narrow (and possibly bunioned?) feet, but in my case they were a bit too long and the shaft width and height was overall too large for me. The top of the boot was too wide and cut uncomfortably into my ankle.They really are gorgeous though! Also flattering. I'm jealous other people can fit them.
These took me about 2 weeks to finally break in. it was mostly the tops that rubbed against my legs that left irritated skin. I got longer socks and that helped a lot. They were also kinda awkward to walk in at first, I felt like a giraffe in heels. Once they were broken in I was so relieved! I kept regretting my purchase and considered returning these several times but trust me if you just hang in there they will become super comfy and a part of you. I wear them at work for 13-hour days now with no issues, I'm a machinist so it's a somewhat active on-your-feet job, too. They'll make you taller, bonus. I just don't like how easily scuffed these got but I also haven't oiled/buffed them since purchasing. Would recommend. Get yourself some tall socks and leather shoe shine. I'm a size 9.5, I ordered a 10.
The boots were lovely, but they were to heavy for me.
These are great with jeans or dressed up. They are still new so they are kinda stiff. The first time I wore them I needed to make sure I had high socks on as they rubbed my leg around the top of the boot. They are a little heavy but not too heavy.
