This shoe works for one-handed people and anyone needing Velcro fastening

I bought these for my brother-in-law who needed a supportive yet comfortable shoe that was well-made and would last. He had a stroke and could only use one hand to put on his shoes. This shoe not only fit well, but he could get it on and off because of the Velcro fastening. I bought this shoe repeatedly over several years. Good, inexpensive shoes. Trash insole

I am very hard to shop for shoes. These shoes are comfortable and wide for my "duck" feet. The insoles are straight trash though. The gel on the heel completely broke away after a day of use. I pulled them out and replaced with a one piece version so they wont. I would still buy another pair, just pull the insoles out and replace with your own.
