i worn this pair since april 25 2024 and they have held up . The tread on bottom looks almost new the inside with the cushion dr scholls insert almost no wear these are made very well good for walking and for knees . The Price is great for a well made sneaker that last and it stopped my ankle pains . TODAYS DATE IS 11/16/2025
Comfortable
The weak link with these shoes is the stitching. I've had a couple of pairs of these, and the stitching wears out quickly if left untreated, leading to premature failure. This is frustrating, as the leather is just fine but I have to replace them because the stitches break and the seams open up.This can be prevented by applying boot wax regularly to protect the stitching. I would give them 5 stars if it wasn't for the problem with the weak stitching thread. Since I bought a new pair and started applying boot wax every week or so, they seem to be holding up much better. These shoes would be so much more durable if they used tougher thread for the stitching.
I only bought a second pair because I can't help being afraid that when my first pair - eventually - develope holes, or the excellent, definitely supporting arches flatten, or maybe the well sewn lace holes break open, or maybe even parts of the rubber heals or soles are chipped off - I'll need another pair: The laces stay tied, each sneaker itself is roomy and snug, and they continue to hold up even during the last inner city winter. These are really comfortable sneakers.
Other than a rough break in period, these are comfortable and definitely comfy.
These shoes are among the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, BUT, they don't hold up. I use them for work and also for my morning walk. I work in an office so I'm not on my feet as much as some people and my morning walk averages about three times per week, up to 2 miles. The shoes are coming apart at the sole. I own two pair and both have separated at the sole, both inside and outside. While I like the comfort, this shoe isn't worth buying again! I had a local shoe repair guy fix the separation but it continues to fall apart.
