Awesome Temple shoes.
These shoes are great. The toe box is wide enough for my very wide feet. The elastic helps the shoe feel more secure. These shoes are comfortable. They are not made for long distance walking. But, for what I need the for, perfect and a fabulous price!

Super cute and physical therapy approved
I've been doing psychical therapy for a few months on a week foot/ankle that I'd had several surgeries on. One of their recommendations was to wear shoes with as wide of a toe box as possible so that all my toes could help support my body. That is not easy to find in a professional-looking shoe. So these jumped off the screen at me.Other pros:- The toe box comes up high enough that you can't see the top of the spaces between your toes. I just do not like to see toe butts like that.- The straps are up high. My feet tend to swell and when there is a strap mid-foot or something, it makes that more obvious. With these, especially when wearing pants, you don't really see that as much.- You don't have to fasten a strap on these, just slip them on.Minor con:- The elastic strap can twist around and not lay flat because it runs through a loop at the back of the shoe. I tend to sit with cross legs on my desk chair, so I'm used to socks and such doing this.Special case:- My feet are three sizes different (5.5 or 6 one one side and 8.5-9 on the other), so I had to buy two pairs of these shoes, one for each foot. They were about $25 each and I could handle paying $50 because I liked them so much but that was very much an exception to how I usually buy shoes.- Nordstrom sells you one pair of shoes with different sizes if they are more than one size apart. So sent childhood (35+ years), I've bought my shoes there pretty exclusively. They are not cheap but they last forever. I bought an actual, fully leather pair of ballet flats recently for $137.- Because of this, I've never tended to buy general retailer shoes like this. I don't expect these to last as long as any of those and don't like jumping on the disposable shoe wagon, but I made an exception here.- If a shoe only costs $25 dollars at a store or online, I figure that's what it's worth and I'm not going to pay $50 for them because I need two sizes (again, these were an exception).- My "little foot" is consistently a 5.5. Sometimes I can make a 6 work, sometimes my foot just floats around in them. I noticed this brand has some shoe styles that in that size but this style doesn't. The 6 is okay and will be better when it put some insoles and other tricks in them.Wrap-up:It's nice to know that this brand exists and how well the sizing works. They have some nice event shoes that I will definitely look at when I need those. It's hard to find something like that just when you need it at Nordstrom.

Budget shoe, but works for my feet
I want to start off by saying that these were on sale for $14 when I bought them. I was expecting low quality for that price, but it was cheap enough to take a risk. I am glad I did! Yeah, putting them on at first felt a bit like putting on a pair of shoes from Payless in the 90s. They aren't high end shoes. That said, they fit nicely. The elastic straps happen to be perfect for my ankles. Lucky me. I wore the shoes around the house for a little while before wearing them out. I wore them to church, which for me involves driving, teaching Sunday School on my feet, then the service with sitting and standing for various parts of the liturgy and kneeling at the altar. My feet never felt uncomfortable. I did use some anti-blister balm, but I think I would have been fine without it. There is no arch support. I wouldn't wear these if I had to walk a lot, or for teaching a full day at school. Like a cheap shoe, these don't really breathe, so another reason to wear them for low intensity activity. There is some heel on these, so they aren't truly flat, but that is good for our feet. Tread is okay. It's fine on most surfaces but I wouldn't try to wear them if I was going to be on a slick surface. In short, I came back to grab another pair, but my size appears to be sold out in the other color I wanted. Such is life.

Great shoe, but unwearable
I loved the look of this shoe. I had a feeling it would be too small and it was just a bit short. However, it also gapped in the instep where the straps attach and the straps were loose. I'm afraid it would've been way too big if I'd gone to the next size up.Having said this, I feel like the look and style were great. Disappointed that they didn't work for me.If you have a thick foot and ankle I think they'd fit fine!

Neutral color ballerina shoes
Ordered these shoes for myself. Love them. They are a nice neutral color but do run big. The elastic around ankle is nice and loose.

Don't even bother with these cheap shoes.
I bought these shoes in June and they lasted until August. Horrible stitching and cheaply made. The elastic at the back of the shoe came out. The stretch from the elastic part that wraps around the ankle doesn't have the stretch anymore. Too bad. I really liked these shoes. Ah well.I wear a size 11, but the 10 fit. They were comfortable and easy to walk in for as long and they lasted.
