Very comfortable/look like real leather
Awesome boots for the little money! Super plush inside. Look quite real and like real leather. Fits perfect, but order larger calf size if unsure. They didn't fit calves of someone else who tried them at my home, but perfect if you have thinner-sized lower legs. Would recommend 10/10 n I'm beyond super picky and used to real leather equestrian riding boots. Glad I gave these a try!!

Very comfortable and nice looking
My husband and I play Santa and Mrs Claus during the Christmas season. Many of our visits are held outside. I was needing a pair of wide calf black boots and came across these. I wasn’t expecting too much because the price was so reasonable, but these are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. They are lined inside and are so warm in colder weather. They look like I spent more than I did on them. I’m highly impressed with this purchase.

Excellent value for the price, just too wide for me
I ordered two similar-looking boots off Amazon (CAMELSPORTS and POLAR brands). Both claim to be waterproof. This is a review for both products that I will post on both product pages.I was looking for a boot that would work reasonably for outdoor activities like hiking/shoveling snow/etc. in snowy conditions for about five months per year. (If you live in a warm, dry climate you will no doubt have different needs.)I was also looking for something to fit my narrow foot and small calves. (If you have the opposite situation, you'll feel differently than I did.)My measurements:Calves=14"Ankles=8.5"Ball of foot=3.75"Narrowest part of foot=2.5"Shoe size ordered=9 (US Womens)Top of knee to top of foot=17"Here's my review for each product:Faux fur:CAMELSPORTS: Thin piece of loose, decorative faux fur on the outside of the boot. Inside has a "shaved" faux fur (think velvet) all the way to the toes.POLAR: Longer faux fur (1/2") on first few inches of the interior, then medium length fur (1/4") to the toes.Zipper:CAMELSPORTS: No webbing behind zipper. Zipper begins 2" from ground.POLAR: Has a double layer of water-resistant webbing behind zipper. Zipper begins 3.5" from ground.Tongue:CAMELSPORTS: No webbing on either side of tongue. Water or snow that goes past 5.25" from the ground could enter the shoe via the tongue.POLAR: Has webbing on either side of tongue for most of its length. Water or snow that goes past 9.5" from the ground could enter the shoe via the tongue.Sole:CAMELSPORTS: Feels like it has some "gripping" properties. Sole pattern is similar to hiking shoes. Has some flexibility at the ball of the foot.POLAR: Covered in a felt-like material. Surfaces are is more uniform and flat. Material doesn't feel as "grippy". Virtually no flexibility.Weight:CAMELSPORTS: 1.3 lbs per shoePOLAR: 1.6 lbs per shoeAnkle support:CAMELSPORTS: Very little support.POLAR: Very little support.Width of top of boot:*I have small calves. I had to measure this by artificially enlarging my calves and measuring circumference. These are my best estimates. Both boots were wider than I'd hoped for, but that's just life for me. I just wear extra socks to get them to fit.CAMELSPORTS: Likely to accommodate calves up to 16" at top circumference. Tighter around the ankles.POLAR: Likely to accommodate calves up to 16" at top circumference. Loose around the ankles.Width of foot area:CAMELSPORTS: Given my narrow feet, I can wear two pairs of thick wool socks before my foot fits snugly.POLAR: Given my narrow feet, I can wear three pairs of thick wool socks before my foot fits snugly. Even then, there's some room left at the top of my foot near the ankle.Warmth:Can't properly evaluate, as it's not below freezing and there's no snow yet. POLAR seems to be thicker, sturdier, and better insulated, but I can't prove that out.Waterproof:Can't properly evaluate, as there's no snow yet (which is what I'd like to test this against). My strong suspicion is that POLAR is far more likely to be waterproof, given the materials, the webbing, the stitching, the height of vulnerable areas from the ground, etc. I have serious doubts as to whether the CAMELSPORTS boots are actually waterproof.Perceived quality:CAMELSPORTS: Boots seem to be primarily decorative in nature. I'm sure they're fine for light protection at temperatures above freezing, but would not consider them for prolonged outdoor exposure. Quality of materials seems low, but within expectation at this price.POLAR: Boots seem to be viable winter gear and are much higher quality than I expected for the price. Temperatures where I am infrequently drop below zero degrees, so I’m expecting them to work well based on other reviewer’s comments.Approximate Cost (with tax):CAMELSPORTS: $50POLAR: $35

Comfortable, Stylish, Warm boots
Very comfortable stylish boots with solid slip-free soles and super warm fur lining. They fit perfectly and best to size down to closest whole number if usually a half size in shoes. Gifted them to my mom for Christmas and she couldn’t be happier!

These are pretty boots though they do not look *exactly* like the picture on Amazon. The foot part is a bit flat and tight. I am usually a 8.5 shoe size and ordered a 9. The boots fit snug when I wear a pairs of thick socks, so I think the sizing is a tad bit small. The boots need to be broken in, but after about 2 hours of walking in them, I can feel them stretching and getting more comfortable. So far, I am satisfied with the boots. I'll update my review after walking around London in these and see how they hold up in the rain!UPDATE: These boots held up in the light rain well. The problem I had was with the fit unfortunately. I deducted 2 stars for that, because it was pretty painful. After walking in these for a couple hours, the boots started hurting my little toe in the right boot. I think there was another review that mentioned this problem too. I ended up adding a cotton ball to cushion that part of the shoe, but that was not ideal. It is still a nice boot, but I can't wear it without doing the cotton trick.
