Fantastic for painful feet!

This is a great shoe for me. I have problem feet and have difficulty finding shoes that are wide enough and deep enough to accommodate them. These shoes seem made just for me! I oversupinate which is opposite of most people so I looked for a shoe that specifically addressed this issue. I also have wide feet and high arches. I got tired of spending a fortune on shoes that didn't feel great from the beginning and were agony after 2 or 3 months, sometimes less. These Drews were a dream when I first put them on and still are a couple of months later. I hope they continue to be comfortable and hold up well because they are a bit more pricey but I don't mind paying more if I'm not in tears when I shop for groceries, run errands, or do housework. Goodness knows I've spent a fortune on shoes that I donated to Goodwill virtually unworn. I wouldn't spend the money on these shoes if you can wear any kind of shoe. But if you have foot pain and you've tried many other brands and types of shoes I would certainly recommend giving these a chance. You may be as pleased as I am so far!

Bought for Pickleball.

Feels bulky when on the court, like it would be easy to trip. The shoe is comfortable. Afraid to wear playing pickle ball. Will use around the house.

Comfortable shoes didn’t last 3 months.

I’ve bought at least two pairs of shoes in the past from Drew and have been very happy with the comfort, especially considering my problem feet. This last pair was equally comfortable, but fell apart within 3 months.I do a lot of city walking, but am otherwise not particularly hard on the shoes.I’ve never had this happen before with footwear. The polish on the toe of the shoes started flaking almost immediately and the bottom layer of one of the pairs became unglued when I put the shoes in the washer and dryer. These shoes were pricey. I don’t mind spending the money if they’re well made, but these were not.

great support shoe

I needed to try a wide size due to bunion on right foot. Drew shoe was a good fit for me. Classy look for sneakers, comfortable, and has good support for walking.

Support with good looks

This is my second pair of Drew shoes, so I already knew about the quality. I was looking for shoes that would give my arthritic feet the support and cushioning needed for the ceramic-tile-over-concrete floors in my home (terrible for feet and knees, but I can't just buy another house), but which would not look so obviously like decrepit old-lady shoes, as do my others. These are very sporty and wearing them makes me feel more "with-it." I did have to fiddle a bit with the insoles, and may continue to do that to fine-tune the fit, as I need the extra depth in the toe area but not in the heel. I have quite a collection of orthotic insoles, so customization is easy. I also found some helpful online videos that offer good tips on proper lacing (yes, there are many ways to lace one's shoes!) for different fitting problems that runners have ... I don't run, but the tips are useful, I think, for anyone with shoes that lace. These shoes are feeling fine right from the start, and I plan to wear them to a convention later this week that will require lots of walking. I was especially pleased with the low sale price from Amazon, which I discovered accidently when looking at price comparisons online. I had never thought of Amazon for shoes before, but I will from now on, especially for (normally) pricey shoes such as these!

Good fit, good looking, well made but. . .

Great shoe, great fit -- but it didn't work for me. 😟 Among other foot problems, I have metatarsalgia, and there was not enough padding in ball of the foot area. I put my orthotics in, and they fit well. 11M. I've been wearing rocker bottom Chung Shi shoes for 12 years which alleviate pressure on the balls of my foot. However, 12 years later I'm having balance problems and the Chung Shi shoes exacerbate that. So I'm looking for comfortable walking shoes that don't have a rocker bottom and having trouble finding "the" shoe.
