Better than some, at a "cheaper than most" price
I've worn steel toe boots off and on in various environments for many years, and my toes have been saved more than once. These are not really all that different from any other safety toed shoes except these don't have laces. For the work I do (light warehouse duties), I don't need the extra support that laces can provide, so I like that these are just slip-on. However, it can be somewhat difficult to get these on because, without the laces, the opening isn't quite as big as what I'm used to.I wear a size 10.5 and since there aren't half sizes in these, I ordered up and got an 11. They are noticeably big on my foot, and for optimal fit, I have to double up on socks--which is not ideal because my feet tend to sweat. This makes wearing them somewhat uncomfortable.Style-wise, they are not going to win any awards, but they're not hideously ugly. I certainly wouldn't wear them out on the town.The soles seem to be a decent quality. I work in a parts store and sometimes we deal with petroleum-based product spills...the soles are not exactly "non-slip" in that environment, but for most situations, they seem just fine. I've not noticed the stitching coming loose or anything after exposure to petroleum-based products.Also, I've not had occasion to wear them for longer than about 6 hours, so I cannot speak for all-day wear. In the amount of time I've worn them, my feet/legs do not feel fatigued, however, I do enjoy getting back into loafers or sneakers after wearing these boots.Overall, they seem to be decent safety footwear for the price. As of this writing, they're listed for $49.99, and I've had seemingly worse shoes for a lot more money.

Truly Amazing Quality. Built to Last!
I'm updating this review because I've really been putting these boots to the test. They have been, and are, absolutely wonderful. I can't describe enough how durable they are. I have other name-brand boots with soles that started to pull away from the boot upper in just a couple weeks of use. These boots have been through the war (rain, mud, roof work, dirt, sawdust/construction, yard work, gardening, fishing) and the entire boot is perfect. I've been keeping them treated with conditioner and I make sure they're clean when they get dirty. It gives me the opportunity to really inspect the uppers and sole assemblies. Nothing has degraded at all.I've invested in some different insoles to add more comfort since my arch is problematic. The OEM insoles are very comfortable but the new ones I bought are thicker and, therefore, provide better support for my mutant feet. I have no complaints and only repeated accolades. Amazingly, these boots aren't expensive at all. They are such an excellent deal. I've recommended these to my family and friends. Again, I can't say enough good about them.****Original Review****These boots are very nice and very well built. It's hard to believe that these could be offered at the price they are. I would expect them to be closer to $250+ in reality.The sole provides good traction and looks great the way it wraps over the toe of the shoe. It protects the front when kneeling down or accidentally kicking things as you walk. The insole is very comfortable too. It feels great to wear. I should also mention that these are real heavy boots. They feel more like a hiking boot when wearing them. I have a few other boots that are heavy and get heavier as the workday wears on. If you work somewhere where you are on your feet all day on concrete, you'll appreciate the cushion these provide.I've had other similar boots to these in the past that were difficult to slip on. These have strong, wide elastic on both sides of the ankle that make it easy to slip the boots on -- a bit harder to remove, which is a good thing. They don't slop around when you wear them. The side elastic also has the added benefit of molding around your ankle, which adds to the comfort of the boot. It feels more like wearing a snug sock than a big, leather boot. It was a pleasant discovery when wearing these for the first time.The boots are about as perfect as can be. They are really well made and have shown NO signs of failure anywhere. The instructions state to rinse mud off with cold water; not hot. So I do. If they get muddy, I wipe off as much as I can outside, then bring them in and rinse with water and dry with a towel. By morning they look perfect again. I also use conditioner/waterproofing to be sure they stay supple and repellent to moisture.I wholeheartedly recommend these. My review is honest, even though it may seem like I'm laying it on a bit thick -- I really can't find anything wrong here. Great seller, outstanding product, and lightning fast shipping from Amazon. These DRKA Steel Toe Chelsea Boots are fantastic! They are well-made and surprisingly comfortable. Buy insoles if you get these
Good boots and initially comfortable, in warehouse work and being on your feet on concrete all day the feet get sore after about 5-6 hours. A bit more comfort/padding would’ve been nice. Otherwise solid boot.
