Comfortable Durable and Light
At first, the slipper like boots seemed to light and comfortable to be serious footwear for the outdoors. It has now been three and a half months of daily bird hunting, hiking and trail walking and they have become my favorite. The boots are as light as slippers and even after seven hours of hunting, mostly through brush, my feet were the only part of my body that was not sore. They easily slip on/off and consequently the fit is a little loose but there is no chafing or rubbing allowing you to easily wear them all day. There isn’t any ankle support to speak of, but to my surprise, I had no issues on uneven and steep terrain. The tread provides excellent traction and shows no sign of wear after a season of very hard use. Being completely waterproof is the best feature; I come in from a day in the rain and mud, simply slip them off, rinse them in the utility sink and set them in the shoe rack, no more boot drying to get the outer material dry. All that hard use and they still look like new after a simple washing and are plenty stylish for the running about in town.
