Too narrow through ankle to insert foot/remove boot
They seem really well made. Once I took off the winter socks and managed to force my bare foot into the foot area, found the inside really soft, solid and overall really comfortable. But I struggled over 5 minutes each boot to remove it. I'm not going to buy a boot that I can't remove from my feet easily. Maybe if I had a slave that would help put the boots on and pull them off without dragging me off the couch, they'd work with not socks. Bought a size 8, I wear 7.5 normally. The boot is just too tight through the ankle, but nice and snug once on. Maybe for people with pencil legs and very slight bone or someone that needs to walk through deep, sticky boot pulling mud...

Great Boots. Warm, dry feet.
These boots are well made and well insulated. Worth the money. Wore them recently during a week of -15 to -20 below weather with a lot of snow. They have thick soles, good ankle support, and are higher than mid-calf boots, so no snow drifted in over the tops. In response to the indignant woman with fat ankles who can't get the boots off -- Buy a boot jack. Problem solved.

Warm and comfy!
These boots are sooo comfortable! They may not be the cutest most feminine boots, but in comfort and warmth they win out! I also love the fact that I can just slip my feet in and no lacing. So easy to wear. This is the first pair of winter boots that have kept my feet completely warm. They can be slippery in black ice, but I'm not sure if there is a boot that isn't slippery in black ice.

They are amazing
The ice fishing in MN this week was brutal, -30° with gust of wind up to 40 mph, we stuck it out in our tent for 7 hours each day and these boots were life savers. My feet stayed warm and comfortable the whole time. Plus the traction on the souls worked perfect on the ice and it was slick. 5 stars plus!
