better than mucks nice fit one size larger for this elderly lady

I like the way these shoes hug the feet. I am a gardener. I have to walk through a muddy field to get to the garden in all 4 seasons....these work great. Better than my mucks which cut into my heel. I am not one to spend a lot on shoes...I call this a lot but they have been worth it in the past. The test will be if the current ones hold up like to older ones do.

I love these shoes for gardening.

I work in landscaping. Not the heavy machinery heavy materials kind of work. I basically just walk around the southeast planting flowers in every weather condition. I have never had a more comfortable garden shoe in my life. It hits all the right buttons. Light, waterproof, and comfortable. The only negative thing I can say is that the sole will wear out a bit quickly, but I don't think they're meant to be walked in for 12+ miles a day, so I'm not going to mark them down for this. They lasted months longer than the Muck Outlander shoes

Super shoe!

I like this shoe 95%+ and I wanted so bad to go with 5 stars. The only item that kept it from a perfect score is the liners - they don't seem to quite fit and I have to take them out and put them back in every time I put them on. Curls or buckles up? Small thing but pointing out issues is what reviews are all about. Rest assured this issue would not keep me from buying again - I would by all means.

Well made, durable and waterproof.

Sturdy construction, water proof for sure, nice traction, quite warm, and a bit heavy. I went with 1/2 size up and good fit. My wide feet are OK. Satisfied!

Great bang for the buck

I had a pair of Muck Boots that fell apart after about 6 months of hard use around the farm. They cost $99. I bought these for less than half of that and they look like they're brand new after a year in a half. I think the Muck Books were more stylist, but these are very durable and comfortable and the price is fantastic.

Not For Me

While these may have outlasted others, they were simply not comfortable. Sizing seemed off; too large/wide for my feet; too heavy. Comfort is everything as you age.

Wanted To Love These, but...

These are very well made and seemed like they would be waterproof and last a long time. However, the elastic around the ankle opening was too tight to be comfortable with bare feet or socks (for a tall woman with average ankles.) Maybe it would stretch after wear, but since they were going to be worn in muddy conditions, didn't want to risk not being able to return them if they didn't stretch. The men's size 10 ran slightly shorter in length than I expected so thick socks made them tighter as well.
