These boots are replacing a 25 year old pair of Red Wings. I've worn Dunham shoes for years and love the comfort and durability. These boots are very well made and exceptionally comfortable. And they run true to size.
Great boots. Work outside in all kinds of weather and they hold up great. Keep the water out and keep my feet mostly warm. The outsoles are perfect for me because I have to walk on surfaces that I don’t want to leave footprints on and these do the job. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I ordered 2 pairs of the same size in 2 different colors because they were on a deep Black Friday discount. The black ones fit a half size bigger than the brown. I found the brown true to size and the black to run just a little big. I threw an extra insole in and they work fine. It’s actually helps since I’m on my feet all day.
These boots are what I was looking for to wear daily with my jeans as casual wear. They are very comfortable after a few days of breaking in. I highly recommend these boots. This is my second pair of Dunham boots.

I’ve worn these boots for 5 months now as a commercial carpenter, on my feet 5-6 days a week. I am extremely impressed with the comfort of these boots. The sole is very well designed with a duel layer….it is soft and spongey in the middle but has a durable rubber on the bottom which doesn’t wear out easy. Great design there. The leather is soft and flexible which made a very easy break in, honestly almost zero break in time. The ankle lock system is great! I feel secure and sturdy all day long! The laces even last long…I usually tear laces but these are lasting the whole time I’ve been wearing them.I disagree with one of the reviewers who mentioned “it’s half sneaker half boot”….that is not a negative!!!! It’s a positive! Anyone who is on their feet all day in construction knows that you want that boot to feel soft and comfortable! This boot is definitely a BOOT that leather is just as durable as red wing and thorogood. But the sneaker feel is coming from the interior padding and duel layer sole! It’s a good thing!!! Trust me!My only reason I’m giving this boot 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5/5 is because I’m not a fan of speed hooks. Every boot these days has them and boot makers think people want them….but in my opinion they are annoying…just loosen up the boot and slide it on. How much more speed are people looking for? Speed hooks catch the inside of ladders sometimes and bend, or like some reviewers mentioned…they can rip off the boot! Although I didn’t have that problem, it’s definitely possible!Also I’d love to see a “unlined” version of this boot for hot summers.Therefore I rate 4/5! Great boot.
Fits good but they are not warm for cold weather.
