Excellent shoes after six months of use.

This is one of the few brands that sells narrow sizes. I wear a size 13, which makes finding a good fit difficult, especially for slip-on shoes.I’ve been wearing these almost daily for about six months, including a two-week trip to Europe in which I put many miles on them. They have performed amazingly throughout the rainy winter (in the Pacific Northwest) and have proven extremely comfortable, so much so that I purchased a second pair.One thing to be aware of is that they will stretch to fit your feet. When they were brand new, they fit rather tight, and I put in a thinner insole to give my feet more room. However, over time, they stretched enough to where I could put the original insole back in. They have fit my feet like a glove ever since.My only gripe would be that some of the threads in the fabric portions of the shoe tend to fray slightly over time, but this hasn’t affected the performance of the shoe at all.Highly recommended!

Dunham Quality Issue?

I love this shoe (Size 13 4E) ... have purchased at least 3-4 pair over last 7-8 years. This last pair I bought early last year is a Quality mystery to me. One shoe as always is perfect fit, great materials and construction. The other shoe began coming apart within a week or so after I began wearing them (see pics below). I have always loved these as my winter shoes because they're somewhat insulated and waterproof and have never disappointed me ... until this one shoe! As you can see the outer dark-plastic trim piece that acts as a moisture barrier to the insulating matl behind it has just deteriorated, cracked, split and peeling away. I tried to patch it with some good shoe repair adhesives but it just keeps failing. Unfortunately I purchased this pair just before an unexpected accident that put me off my feet for a few months and I was unable to get back to my normal outside work in he yard and gardens, my hikes in the woods, etc for almost a year. By the time I began wearing them and then noticed how the one shoe was failing, the 1yr replacement policy had lapsed and I had no recourse but to swallow the defect. Now I'm unsure if I ever want to take the chance of ordering these again ... maybe they've gotten away from specifying the better matls the manuf has always used for this shoe ... just don't know. If anyone reading this has actually purchased and worn this style of Dunham shoe recently and you're not seeing this problem please post here and maybe I'll see it, maybe I will try again. As of right now NO WAY sadly!

Slip-on that works

It was difficult for me to find a slip-on that was sturdy, nice looking, water proof, and felt secured to my feet. Others I've tried were too tight, too loose when walking (heal). These are flexible but not like a Sneaker. I use these when waking on wet grass in the morning or rainy days. I can't vouch for them as a work boot, but good for hiking. My only other option was a laced boot but not with these. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Amazing slip on shoe! I had bought it at a store in person where I was told they were being discontinued. Found them online and bought two pairs at 10.5 wide! They are so well made and comfortable. I bought two pairs to make sure I had my favorite shoes for awhile.
