Sturdy, Comfortable Boots that Seem Adequately Protective for Gardening
I bought these boots for gardening at work where professional pesticides are sometimes used. I hate working around such chemicals, none of which I trust despite any promises of safety. These boots seem very sturdy and provide good coverage to feet and calves. I find them surprisingly comfortable, although somewhat heavy, but the weight is to be expected in this kind of boot. I have no way of determining how impervious they are to the chemicals I work around, but they at least give me the impression they are providing protection. My only complaint is they are too tight at the calf, but I have wide calves and always have trouble finding tall boots that fit. I made a small cut in the top of each boot and that provided the fit I needed for my calves. This adjustment probably wouldn't work if you wear the boots over thin stockings or bare legs, as the cut fabric would probably create pressure and be uncomfortable, but with pants or a protective suit I have had no problem at all.

This product is awesome, durable and true to size. I would have like to see it in more colors especially black, grey, red or yellow.

Good overall boot for industrial work in cold wet environment.
Comfortable for the price. I work in a cold warehouse with water puddles and spraying and my feet stay dry but toes get a bit cold ( I think because of the steel toe). Non slip sole works okay but not as good as my former laced boots. Some moisture also on my socks ( socks + wool/boot socks) at end of the night but I think it is condensation from the steel toe (not leaking).I am a size 11 and the boot fits good, though my foot moves a bit and some chaffing on my right pinky toe and right heel (Hoping these will go away after I get used to the boots). I prefer wide boots so I didn't move down a size to 10/10.5 like others suggested. Snug over my jeans and easy to take on/off.

Affordable and comfortable
PROS:o MADE IN USA!!!o affordable, as boots goo easy on and offCONS:o none so farHad a pair of Made In USA Ranger steel toed rubber boots that I have owned for 10 years+, and they started to crack where the boot flexes near the toe. Apparently they are no longer in business, so I started looking for another made in USA brand. Stumbled across these and ordered a pair. So far, I am VERY pleased, they go on and off much more easily than my old boots. They are a LITTLE bit bigger than the Ranger boots (both are size 9) but that will work better in cold weather when I wear thicker socks. The durability remains to be seen, but I am absolutely satisfied and pleased so far.

I've bought probably a dozen pairs of these.
Firstly, these are the only water proof boots I have found that are actually non slip. Don't let the others fool you. Take a look at the picture of the product above. Do you see that waffle pattern on the sole? That's what makes them non slip even if you're walking on slippery chemical or oil.As far as the fit, I float between an 11 and 12 depending on the brand of footwear. I'm happier in 12's for these. You might need to double up on a pair of socks if you buy these though. While the length and width are correct, the height on the inside is very high. So they kinda flip flop while you walk until you break them in.I didn't like that they're steel toe at first but it took about a day before I forgot about the extra weight and after a week I was noticing the benefits of it.They smell for the first few times you wear them but they're rubber so whatever. Here's what I don't like. They do not last a long time. As I said above, I've owned around a dozen pairs of these by now. They last between 3 to 6 months before they wear through the sole. (I walk several miles on concrete and pavement in these 5 days each week so yours will likely last longer than mine. With that being said, I have not owned any other rubber boot that has lasted any longer. If you're looking for boots that you can wear in a marsh you might be better off getting something that has tractor tread, but for concrete, pavement, or any other smooth surface these are the best.

Great Product
I wear these when I spray. They were also great for dealing with a tick issue that we had last summer. They are comfortable, not extremely heavy, and not hot.

To return, or not to return, that is the question!
First, I should preface my negative comments with a positive comment about materials and workmanship; The boot is made with high quality materials and the outsole is perfectly bonded to the upper portion of the boot. My complements to the manufacturer for good process and quality control. Pleasantries aside, before making this purchase, I carefully measured both feet (length and width) and read the customer reviews in an effort to determine the correct size. Nevertheless, the result my effort fell a little short (actually long) of the goal. My normal boot size, depending on the brand, is either 10 or 10.5, and my running shoes (NB and Asics) are always size 11. For this purchase, I settled on Men's size 10 and, as Murphy would have it, size 10 proved to be too large...I think. Clearly there's extra room in the toe which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The major issue is that, during the push-off phase of every step, the heal of the boot fails dreadfully in its ability to prevent my heal (and foot) from lifting out place. Even with Dickies winter socks over my low rise athletic socks my heal continued to slip uncomfortably out of its spot. In my humble opinion, the heal quarter lacks the necessary shape and rigidity to prevent heal rise. Considering whether or not a size 9 would resolve the issue, the "vamp" is already a little tight around my wide feet (a size 9 boots would only be tighter), and the toe would probably lack the necessary space to afford wearing thick socks during cold weather. Too make a long story short, I'm debating whether or not I should return the boots, or simply keep them and suck it up (pun intended given a foreboding vision of a boot left behind in the mud-Splat!).
