Great boots

I'm 210 lbs and work an active job so I wear out a pair of boots in 6-12 months. I currently wear these boots 50+ hours a week. I'm often ankle deep in water. I crouch a lot, climb ladders, work indoors, outdoors, and with harsh chemicals.Steel toe rubber boots are my only option for work footwear, so it's very important to me. I've tried a dozen different safety toe rubber boots over the years. Muck Chore Cool STs were my go-to but they are hard to find and very heavy.Many rubber boots are durable, but not comfortable. Comfortable rubber boots often split where the upper meets the sole if you crouch frequently like I do.These boots still look brand new after six months. These are my new go-to.

I am a residential service plumber who changes my footwear a couple times every day--on average. I bought these boots to use while working in the mud--in the yard and in tunnels (mostly). These have a durable composite safety toe and are very comfortable because they have a thin lining with decent insoles. Another compelling aspect of these boots is that they are offered in different colors. I do not wear black boots because they tend to absorb heat from the sun. The tread on these boots are somewhat aggressive, and the pattern holds mud more than a panama lug or hobnail sole. Occasionally, pea gravel will get stuck in the tread. Because the boot is lined (perhaps with neoprene), you will want to wash the inside of these boots every week, including the insoles. I purchased these one half size larger to accommodate a reinforced gel insole along with the OEM insoles--they are extraordinarily comfortable but not lacking support. The shaft of these boots is not tight on the calf, which means that rain can enter the boots in a heavy downpour of rain unless pants are worn over the boots--an extreme situation, but I work in extreme conditions.
