Wow - that didn't last long!
[UPDATED 12/8/2025]Reducing rating down to one star. I wore them for a week then put them away as I have a lot of shoes to rotate through. I broke them out this morning as they were a perfect match for my outfit and one of the lace loops tore clean off - I wasn't even pulling hard... Very disappointing! These have been worn maybe a total of 5 times - even the most inexpensive shoe (or even a dollar-store pair of flip-flops) should last longer than that![END UPDATE]The only thing I could find that I did not like about these shoes were the included laces. My preference has always been towards round laces - these were flat. I replaced them with round and they're really comfortable shoes for casual wear or for a long hike. I am on the trails daily so I've given them a thorough run both on and off the beaten path, both in dry and wet conditions. As long as the water depth doesn't go over the top of the shoe your foot will stay dry! No real break-in period required - were super comfortable right out of the box. Sizing is accurate and appears that these will last a long while. Synthetic materials were used throughout so they do feel a little plasticky.
