Received the product promptly as advertised. I got the boots in a few days. I wear 10 1/2 in most shoes, so when I tried these on, they did not fit. This prodect runs about a size too big, at least for me. I returned them with Amazon's awesome return system. I ordered another pair in a 9 1/2 and they seem to fit. They are a quality shoe with a nice style. I am pleased with my purchase.

A classic, and still built that way
This shoe hasn't changed much, if any, for decades, and that's a GOOD thing. Super light, comfortable, wear them loose or tie them up. Very well built, especially for a shoe at this price range.

Great looking and very durable boot.
I usually wear a 11.5 medium and that's what I bought. It's a very snug fit and for a few wears it was borderline uncomfortable. After about five straight days wear, they are still a tad snug but way more comfortable. I'd rather a snug comfortable fit than a fit that's too loose, I wouldn't buy these in wide. Im perfectly ok with the snug yet comfortable fit.

Good value
Overall, this is a great value in footwear. Obviously there are compromises at this price point. Made in China (better handsewns are American, Dominican or El Salvadoran). Nylon laces rather than rawhide. The upper is thin split leather reinforced in the heel with pigskin. Not true wrap-around moccasin construction - the upper is sewn to a textile and fiberboard base.On the other hand, this is still a sewn sole which is great for durability even if you don't resole later (but you could). The Peanut could pass for Chromexcel. I also looked at the tan and it was nice as well. The cloth insole is great for barefoot use and fairly comfortable, but you can also remove it easily if you want. The camp sole is a bit softer than boat soles for comfort but still has good traction.Fit is comparable to dress shoe size, so order half size from your athletic shoes.

Comfy and looks great!
I've wanted the Seneca for probably 3 decades, but these are the first pair I've owned. I've owned the crepe sole version, the Oneida, and it's a little different. In addition to the crepe sole, the Oneida doesn't have the memory foam and the toe is a little longer, and more narrow, like a more traditional moc. I prefer the wider/shorter toe of the Seneca, though.I'm not sure how I feel about the memory foam, because I usually don't like such technologies, and I doubt the Seneca had memory foam when I first began wanting them. But the memory foam is comfortable and I love how this boot feels. The leather is thinner than I expected, but it looks great and does have some nice pull-up effect to it.Eastland shoes tend to run a little smaller in my experience and the Seneca is no different. I ordered my sneaker size and it was perfect (10.5 in Nike/Vans), so order a half size larger than whatever you wear in dress shoes.I'll end by saying that I ordered 2 pairs to make sure I got the right size and both were fulfilled by Amazon. One pair had really dirty soles, but the uppers looked as if they had never even been tried on before. The 2nd pair had clean soles, but the uppers had scuffs and stretch marks. Both were still in very good condition and looked quite new, so considering the low price I paid, I didn't mind at all.Update: Just want to add that although the leather is thin, it's also buttery soft. I'm not very familiar with thin leather grains, but even though there is some immediate creasing, I don't think it's excessive for such a thin leather. If it were a thicker leather, I might be a little concerned, but I'm actually a little surprised there's not more creasing with leather this thin. The leather's really not that thin, either, but I'm just used to thick leather boots that take time to break in.

Great!
I like this type of shoe--the style/construction, and the the type of leather. This company's version seems as good as the L.L. Bean camp mocs I've always bought 'til now, and I'm hoping this version will not become sort of shapeless the way the Bean mocs eventually do (Sorry, L.L. Bean folks--I love ya, but just sayin').One big plus for this version: the laces. Simply put, they feel great! They don't feel like they're going to get loose and come undone unless double tied. Also, on the Bean mocs (for my men's size 14), there's not space over the tongue between the two sides that the laces pull together, so I can't pull the Bean mocs tighter. These DO have space over the tongue between the two side pieces (with the eyelets), so I get a better feeling of lacing them up snugly.

Different Shoelace Lengths.
I was hesitant to order Eastland shoes from an Amazon vendor, but since this style was no longer offered through the direct manufacture I was limited on my options on were to buy them. I just, for the first time, put these on today to discover that one shoe lace is much longer than the other. I am very disappointed because the shoelaces that come with Eastland shoes are quality shoeslaces. They last me for almost 3-4 years and I wear the shoes almost daily.
