An ok dress casual boot.

These look really nice when brand new. The sole gets discolored pretty easily even though I work in an office environment. I had to treat with a liberal coat of mink oil 3 times to get to a tolerable level of comfort, and they need another coat now after a few months. Their is no padding around the opening which is very stiff, and digs in a little while driving, or sitting down in general, but they are pretty comfortable while on my feet. Not a bad boot for dress casual, but not sturdy enough for a work boot. The 10.5Dfit the same as an 11D Nike running shoe. The forefoot is a little narrow, so for a wider forefoot these will be uncomfortable as I have a medium wide foot, and they are almost too snug. I wouldn't pay more than $80 for these boots, and I've seen them for well over $100 at times. I alternate between this and a more comfortable dress casual work shoe because they are too uncomfortable for every day wear. They do look nice though.

Comfortable boot

This has been a comfortable boot for me that is true to size. I like that it has both a professional and a casual look to it. I’m a little worried that sole will wear quicker than what I’m used to. It is very comfortable to walk in all day long. But if you happen to walk on a wet surface, there’s a good chance you’re going down.

You’ll need some boot balm

Overall a nice pair of chukka boots. Seem well made and durable. Their real leather which is nice. I ordered my typical shoe size and they fit great. Seem appropriate for manly work or dressing up.They do look really really new out of the box. Maybe a bit rigid. I’d like to get the folds and creases in the right areas so I applied leather boot balm straight away which the leather soaked right up. I think they way look better and more leathery. Should speed up the break-in.
