I wear a size 9EE women's shoe. I ordered this Eastland Buck Taupe Suede shoe in a size 9D (Wide). The fit is fine on me. I am diabetic and have plenty of toe wiggle room (3/4 inch). The shoe is very comfortable, not "snug" at all when worn with a thin to medium sock. I think a thick sock would make it a little snug in the width. I could probably get along fine with a size 8-1/2D if I wasn't going to wear socks because they do run a LITTLE big. I do not like a shoe that makes me feel as though I am walking on a pillow so this shoe is just right for me - not really "cushiony" but very comfortable and stable. The fit in the heel was just a wee bit big but heel liners solved that problem. The shoes are casual and look great with my jeans. These shoes do not make my feet look big or wide. I am glad I ordered these as I have been wanting a pair for a long time.

Love these shoes, real leather (unlike so many that make this claim), footbed/sole have nice cushioning and give when walking. I've added my own insole and it is a perfect fit for me so lots of walking is no issue at all. So far I've worn them with shorts and long pants since they go with either one very well. I've had these for about 2weeks so far and they have become my favorite.

Loved these shoes when I was growing up and love them again!! So comfortable and versatile. I wear a 7.5 women's and originally ordered that size, but it was huge on me. I returned for a 7 and it's better, I might be able to go to a 6.5 for it to be a perfect fit. But, I don't want to risk it.
